This beautifully appointed Villa is your home away from home! Conveniently and privately located in an Upscale neighborhood, on McDowell Mountain Ranch. Across from the beautiful Javelina Trail and diagonally across from McDowell Mountain Golf Club. Our rancher sits on a 10,000 sq. ft. corner lot, backs on the desert wash, has Stunning View of the mountain and city.


The neighborhood Pub & restaurant Thompson 105, an Open Table Diner's Choice Award Winner, is just down the road. Honor Health Medical Clinic, Scottsdale Community & Aquatic Centre, gym and waterpark, Arabian Library, AJ Fine Foods, Safeway, restaurants and shopping are minutes down the road. Westworld (Barret Jackson Car Auction, Arabian Horse Show), Mayo Clinic, Highway 101, Frank Lloyd Wright Boulevard, Beautiful Kierland Commons Shopping District, Costco etc... are all close by. Scottsdale Fashion Square and Scottsdale Old Town are approx. 30 minutes drive.


From our place, you are minutes to all the famous PGA golf courses, and north to beautiful Sedona and the red rocks, Flagstaff, Grand Canyon, the amazing Antelope Canyon and more....... That's how our guests described our location as 'GREAT'.


The property is quality built and beautifully laid out, featuring 2,800 sq. ft. of spacious luxurious living all on one level, 10-foot ceiling thru-out! Master Bedroom with huge Ensuite bath separated from other guest bedrooms!! 4 bedrooms + Media Room, 2 1/2 baths, open Living Room, Dining Room and Breakfast eating area with deluxe furnishings , tastefully decorated with art works, a library of books & puzzles, and a gourmet Kitchen (double oven), a Keurig Coffee machine plus another Mr. Coffee machine and plenty of utensils and kitchen-wares for those who love cooking. Large kitchen counter with stools for casual gatherings.


Our backyard is private, with green hedges around, back on the wash with lots of birds visiting! A great place for bird watching! You will enjoy a large covered patio. A Resort Style swimming pool with water feature (5 lion heads), suitable for length swims and other water activities. Our spa/whirlpool is also there for your enjoyment and relaxation.
Both pools can be heated on request. Also available is our outdoor BBQ grill and many of the outdoor furniture will help you fully enjoy your outdoor experience.

Our family was in need of an extended getaway. When we arrived and entered the home and saw the pillow “blessed”, we immediately knew we had found the perfect spot. A tranquil oasis and the warmth of Arizona’s unforgettable sunsets was the backdrop every day for our lovely stay. The house was fully stocked with all we needed and more. There wasn’t a day that we didn’t spend hours in the pool. The water feature was our calming sound buffer. We shared many good meals and laughs and even juiced for 8 days straight. Daily bird watching was a family affair. Humming birds, cardinals and the faithful grey owl that visited daily, early evening. The time spent here was invaluable and we will always cherish the memories of your Scottsdale stay. Thank you for opening the door to your comfy home and allowing it to bless our family.

Excellent "property" in a wonderful area
It's hard to use the term "property" as this is obviously a well cared for home which the owners have done everything to make you feel welcome. The detailed binder provided helpful usage instructions for the pool, whirlpool and outside grill along with local shopping and hiking trails. The closest trail being right across the street. The owners provided ample household supplies, were easily assessable and responsive to any query I had. The neighborhood is quiet and the back yard provides lots of sun along with a plethora of humming birds to enjoy. I would gladly stay again and highly recommend this home

Amazing pool & nice house
House is very nice. High ceilings, comfortable beds, roomy shower with a bench, and a very cozy media room. Media room TV is large and has a great sound. Small TV in the master bedroom is nice too. Kitchen is well stocked for cooking. The star of the home is the pool. I've never been in such a clean pool. No chlorine smell on clothes or hair, just refreshing clean water. It's the perfect size for swimming laps. The spa has powerful jets to massage muscles and even the lion head fountains in the pool offered a massage. Comfortable seating in the shade. All sorts of wildlife go by here, birds, lizards, in the back, javelinas in the front. All add to the feeling of a sanctuary. Good communication with owners. Thank you Sandy for prompt replies.

Fantastic vacation home

We had a great time. Loved the location. It really had all that we needed from pool, hot tub and plenty of inside activities as well. The manager was very responsive. The hiking trails and access to the community pool was also convenient and used often. The mountain views were also very much enjoyed. We would certainly return and are grateful for our time spent. We (retired Canadian snowbirds joined for part of the time by our children and grandchildren) thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay. The home was as advertised - the pictures on the Vrbo site provide an accurate depiction of the home and its amenities. Very lovely swimming pool and backyard area. We never saw nor heard from the local property manager during our stay (we did not have any problems and also did not have a need to contact the local property manager during our stay). Excellent hosts - very responsive to emails. The cleaning service provided during unit turn over could be improved. Overall a very nice and relaxing stay.

Perfect!
This vacation home located in Scottsdale was perfect! The home is beautiful with ample room. It was clean and appointed with everything needed. Kitchen was stocked with good cooking gear. Pool and hot-tub were perfect. The hiking and trails were fun and the people on the trails were all friendly. A terrific golf course was across the road. Can't say enough good things about the property.

We spent the majority of our time on the patio! I enjoyed walking on the very convenient path system, even a few walks to Starbucks, for morning coffees. The pool warmed nicely and we throughly enjoyed swimming laps.

Great house and great location
We really enjoyed our stay. The location is so convenient to restaurants, shopping and outdoor activities. 10 minutes from McDowell trails and the Javelina trail just outside the door is great for walk without having to drive anywhere. We had two active teenage boys with us so the basketball and tennis court down the street were perfect. Also close by is the Scottsdale sports complex that has open soccer fields and basketball court. The pool and hot tub were used daily and a treat after a long hike. We would recommend staying here and hope to be back again.

Lovely Girls Weekend
We rented this property for a girls weekend and it did not disappoint. Pool and spa was great, neighborhood was amazing (close to hikes and stores), house was clean. The only two issues we had was 1) most of the utensils, (forks, knives, etc) glasses and plates/bowls were dirty (not properly cleaned). We just put them through the dishwasher and they were then fine (Thank you for leaving us with detergent!). The other issue was the first bedroom to the left of the family room (as you walk in) was very noisy due to the AC units being right outside that bedroom window. Very hard to sleep in that room. Other than that, everything was amazing. Would for sure rent again. Thank you!

Home from home ...... with a great pool and sunshine !!
This is our 4th … or maybe 5th … successive stay at this property and we will be returning in 2020. The owners and managing agents are very helpful and efficient. The property is very well maintained, well situated in a quiet residential area and has an amazing pool !!! All the shops / restaurants and other facilities that one might need are nearby and my wife and I (having returned only yesterday) will be checking out flights for 2020 later today !!

Our group of four golfers stayed again in 2019, and had a great stay. Via car, the location is convenient to all spots in the N. Scottsdale area, and the property itself is in a quiet spot. We had an issue with a slow draining sink which was brought to the homeowner's attention, and the next day the property manager was in touch. Will stay again next year.

Spectacular
My wife and I stayed at this fantastic property for two months. We enjoyed every minute of it (even with some shaky weather in February). Sandy and Ron are diligent owners who obviously take pride in their hospitality and keeping the home in great condition for guests. The design of the home is great with a very nice and private master suite. The living area is cozy and welcoming with plenty of room to spread out. We really enjoyed the outdoor area with the beautiful pool and great sitting areas. We also found the location of the home to be terrific with close proximity to great shopping, restaurants and hiking. We played a lot of golf and found the McDowell Mountain golf course to be both challenging and fun. If you are looking for either a short or longer term stay this is THE property you should choose. With the layout of the home I can see where this would be a great choice for a golfer getaway. We can’t wait to return in 2020!
