Very clean and chic home with new furnishings and hotel like amenities. Attention was paid to every detail. Stylish yet comfortable. Although the lake is not swimmable, Explore the lake by paddle boat, kayaks or choose to stay on land and enjoy the neighborhood by bicycles. Relax and unwind while sitting lakeside and viewing the water fountains day to night from the house, on the dock, on the patio or in the backyard. A small plastic pool or an inflatable pool is available to cool off for the little ones. Adjacent to Thunderbird Preserve for hiking and across the street from a very exclusive neighborhood park offering volleyball, basketball, a playground and picnic areas. Blocks away from the top of the 101 allows easy access to everything!! Tons of dining and shopping close by (including grocery stores!) 27 minutes from the airport. Close proximity to all Spring Training, Waste Management Phoenix Open Golf Tournament, all the golf courses you can play, minutes from the Hurricane Harbor Phoenix water park. close to Glendale State Farm Stadium, Barrett Jackson Car Show, Surprise Sports Complex, Surprise Stadium, Cardinals, Diamondbacks, Arizona Coyotes, Gila River Arena, top golf, indoor entertainment centers, Mayo Clinic close by. 2 Blocks to Midwestern University and close to University of Phoenix, ASU west campus and GCU. Hidden gem in Glendale

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s home in Glendale. The home was immaculate, toys plentiful and the location on the water was an added bonus. Mary checked on us several times in order to make certain we were happy. We will return as soon as the property is available! It was perfect for us.

Great House in a Nice Neighborhood

Great location! The house was clean and was stocked with everything needed for our stay. Teens loved the paddle boat, kayaks and fishing on the dock. Will stay here again if in the area. Definitely recommend this property!

Great Expectations

Great expectations will finally be met when you stay at this one! Puts every other experience below this new level of standard of a VRBO rental. The accommodations were above and beyond —clean, comfortable and the property manager could not have been more available. The sunrise and sunsets are breathtaking. Safe area and kid friendly. Just a wonderful weekend place to stay.

Sweet getaway

Definitely worth staying here over a hotel. Home was extremely clean and organized. We enjoyed all her games, bikes and boats. The playground nearby was also a treat, especially for our dog. I was skeptical of all the 10 ratings but for this place the reviews are accurate.

Awesome stay in Phoenix!

We had an amazing time celebrating my birthday at this beautiful lakefront home!! The host is super sweet and made our welcoming to the home very comfortable and inviting. Caught so many fish and absolutely loved sitting on the dock and enjoying the mountain views with the awesome sunset!!!! Had a blast, the home is breath taking and has everything you need. We will definitely use the house again in the future.

This home wants for nothing

We stayed for five weeks, all very delightful. Mary was very responsive and helpful when needed. The location is great, especially enjoyed siting out on the dock and watching the lake. Thanks, all in all a great visit.

Beautiful home

The home was clean, well stocked and very roomy for our family. We used the paddleboat and kayaks and loved being on the lake. Lake house

This property is meticulously clean, up-to-date, and also very comfortable. It is well-appointed with a coffee bar and equipment for activities, such as paddle boating! The location is very convenient and the neighborhood is conducive to bicycling and hiking. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Excellent property and host!!!

This home has it all, and the host thought of everything. Mary was there to greet us and walk us through the property to make sure we knew where everything was and she checked in on us the next morning via text to answer any questions we may have. The home is beautiful, with a dock to the lake, kayaks, paddle boat and all of the comforts of home. We will definitely stay again! Thank you Mary!

Great place, especially with a toddler.

Comfortable indoor and outdoor space. Amenities to keep a toddler busy. Loved looking out over the water. Very relaxing. Has everything you need. Just like at home.

Everything even better than expected from the excellent reviews - location, cleanliness, contents. We enjoyed the patio, view and yard, games and kitchen. We had arrived late and it was so nice to have breakfast items available in the morning. Communication from Mary perfect. Have breakfast at the Sunshine Breakfast Bar.

Clean and comfortable

I everything was super clean and smelled great. Some thoughtful snacks were provided. There were several fun things for the kids to play. The paddle boat was a little difficult to maneuver but overall everything was fantastic.

A Winter Escape!

Mary is an exceptional host. She checked in often and tailored items at the rental based on information provided. We especially enjoyed paddle boating on the lake, the park across the street, and the numerous games found around the house. Our 2 year old daughter also had a blast! Perfect!

Perfect location; perfect home, perfect host! My friends and I enjoyed this home very much. Wonderful space for everyone! Beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was marvelous and well supplied with abundant dishes, silverware, and a huge variety of cooking & baking utensils. The patio with views of the lake & mountains made the patio our “hang out!” This was truly one of the nicest VRBO rentals I’ve ever stayed at. Mary was a wonderful hostess who was attentive without ever being intrusive. Allowing our dog to stay made our visit even better. Wonderful rental experience!

Spot on!

The property provided everything we needed. Mary was amazing. Super flexible with changes that we had to make during the booking phase. Beds were comfortable. Bathrooms were clean. Kitchen had everything you could need. Didn't use the lake or toys, but everything was there as advertised including two sets of golf clubs, with some decent clubs included. Check in/out were effortless. Couldn't ask for more in a rental. Thanks Mary!

Amazing Bachelor party weekend hub!

1st) the house is amazingly close to so many fun options around the area. (I suggest Westgate and can lake entertainment centers) including top golf, the sports parks and stadiums. 2nd) the house itself is awesome. A very clean and kept house right on the water. We weren’t at the house a ton but when we were we spent most of that time in the back yard, on the deck, or on the lake! Thank you so much for helping our trip be awesome!

Christmas at Sunset Lake House

We enjoyed our stay at this comfortable family style home which was very clean and well stocked with games and equipment for activities. It was nice to have several sitting areas inside and out. The enclosed yard was perfect for our little dog, making our stay even more relaxing. The house is in a safe, convenient location- great neighbourhood close to recreation and shopping and pretty views, but somewhat noisy due to proximity to the 101 highway. Mary was an excellent host who kept in touch to be sure we were happy there. Thank you, Mary!

Nice getaway

Thanks to the visitors ahead of us leaving the house tidy and Mary getting her team into clean, we were able to get into the house a little early. Wonderful view of the fountain from the patio and great to be able to sit on the dock. You can hear the 101, but it was not disruptive to our stay. Rooms were spacious. Mary was great, meeting us at the house to show us around and explain all the wonderful things she had for our use. She checked up on us to see how things were going which was a nice touch. If you are looking for a place by the water, this is your place!

Amazing property with so much fish to catch!!

This property was amazing inside and out. It was clean, organized, very comfortable with a great atmosphere and vibe. The backyard is amazing the kayaks and paddleboat available and so much fish to catch right off the dock during your stay. My family had an amazing trip we all caught fish, great neighborhood just a wonderful time all around. Our host Mary was so great!! She met us at the property and showed us everything, where all the games, toys, kayaks, just every single thing that you could need is here at this house and so very, very, kid friendly it’s amazing!! We all had such a fabulous time. The property is immaculate and just so very comfortable and welcoming and relaxing. Rent this property , if you love to fish, you will catch them left and right! We had the best time and we will absolutely be back!!
