Gold Canyon Getaway - 4 bed House with Heated Pool and Stunning Mountain Vistas

Welcome to our Gold Canyon villa. It contains 4 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms and is a generous 2550 square feet. This house has a brand new pebble tec heated pool with a Baja shelf and umbrella. In behind the fenced backyard is a desert wash for fabulous privacy and is teaming with wildlife. Partake in the stunning views of Dinosaur Mountain and the imposing Superstition Mountains. Lots of hiking and walking trails nearby to suit all ability levels including the popular Hieroglyphic Trail that is just a few minutes walk away. Relax on the upper deck and observe the abundance of birds in the area.

Great stay in Gold Canyon
This was a great house for our family get together in the desert! Spacious and comfortable inside with a heated pool/waterfall and nice seating areas making the whole backyard a relaxing and inviting space. Great communication with the host! Highly recommend.

Perfect winter getaway
We stayed for over a month and it could not have been better. Beautiful fully stocked home in beautiful Gold Canyon. Amazing private back yard full of wildlife and an awesomene heated pool.

Our family had a great stay! The heated pool and little backyard oasis was perfect. Location was spectacular! Short drive from Mesa, many good options and grocery story close by. John was great at communication and checking in to see how things were going. Would definitely recommend - perfect for families or groups of friends.

We had a family gathering in Gold Canyon for our Dad's 85th birthday. John & Tamara's house was perfect for us! The patio and pool area were perfect in the morning and evening as well. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quiet get away - even in the summer months! :)

We were very happy with this rental!
This house is exactly as described. It was clean and in great condition. I appreciated the fact that the kitchen was well stocked with enough dishes, pots and pans, cooking utensils, etc. The owner checked in with us to make sure we got in to the house, and later how we were doing, and he was very responsive to the questions I had.

Family trip
After 2 years of waiting for our family trip to happen we were very pleased with our accommodations. The location was great for us, we had enough rooms and space for 5 adults plus 1 young child and an infant. It was nice to have a high chair and a pack and play already there! Lovely pool and indoor games as well. John was great to correspond with and always quick to answer. It was a fabulous vacation and we would certainly consider staying here again in the future. I would highly recommend this property!

A great month in the desert.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Gold Canyon. Communication with John was superb. The home was very comfortable and exceeded all of our expectations. It is beautifully located with mountain views and a wonderful relaxing pool. It is close to some hiking trails but the neighborhood affords walking areas and trails through arroyos. We highly recommend this rental!

Amazing Property & Owner!
Property was phenomenal! Great location, very clean & great amenities. Property owner was very accessible and easy to communicate with. He wanted to ensure a wonderful stay, which he did! The only suggestions I have would be that additional towels & washcloths would have been nice. Also additional bedding - change of sheets and more blankets would have been nice. Really was a wonderful stay though & would definitely stay again!

Awesome getaway....
If you are looking for a clean, comfortable, well equipped modern home with a private pool in a safe, secure neighborhood--this house is definitely for you. Groceries, hiking trails, horseback riding, tourist attractions, etc are just minutes away and you are also within easy reach of all of the activities/amenities that a larger city (Phoenix) has to offer. Our only regret was that we only had 7 days to enjoy this awesome getaway.

Fabulous mountain views
Swimming in the backyard heated pool and gazing at two mountain ranges... fabulous! A very comfortable, livable home, nicely furnished and equipped, in a quiet neighborhood. Wonderful backyard with pool, fire ring, eating area and pool side furniture. Visiting grandchildren enjoyed the loft area with game tables. The master bedroom on the second floor with a large balcony overlooking the twinkling lights of the area at night was a lovely way to end the day. Grocery store, pharmacy, restaurants, etc., just a short drive away, as are many mt. hiking trails. A visit to the nearby Boyce Thompson Arboretum is a great excursion. We like the Gold Canyon area with it's location below the Superstition Mts. and its distance from the hustle and bustle of the city of Phoenix. John was a great host, just a text away. He responded quickly to any questions we had and certainly helped make this one of our best AZ stays ever!

Perfect Place To Stay!
Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids) rented this property for 9 days and it was absolutely wonderful! We enjoyed our own bedrooms, the gaming area, the pool, the patio(s), and very open floor plan! John was very responsive for any questions we had. We will definitely be renting again next year if available!

Great place!
Perfect for a COVID getaway. We booked this place as a spot to work remotely for a couple weeks and enjoy the Arizona warmth. The house is larger than expected and we were able to easily spread out. The back patio and pool were great with beautiful views of the mountains. Very close to running/hiking trails. The owner was very responsive and checked in throughout our stay to ensure we had everything we needed. We were very tempted to extend our stay for another week. Would definitely recommend.
