This property was overall a decent place to stay. There were definitely pros and cons to staying here. In a pinch, I would book again, but only as a last resort. I have laid out my reasoning below.
Pros:
- The unit itself was well taken care of, and very clean
- The A/C unit worked well
- The TV had streaming service options, so I was able to login to my own account to stream.
- The checkin process was smooth
- The host was very communicative and nice when I spoke with her
- The bed/furniture was very comfortable
- The property was well taken care of
- Fairly centrally located in the Phoenix metro
Cons:
- I never felt unsafe on the actual property, but I did feel a bit unsafe in the immediate vicinity. The neighborhood is in a pretty run down part of town. Luckily, parking was in the back.
- There were a bunch of trailers on the property and because of this, there were lots of people coming and going and parking was very limited by the evening time.
- The shower water was not hot. I tried showering twice here and cranked the temperature up as hot as it would go. Both times I wasn’t able to get the temperature past lukewarm, so it wasn’t very enjoyable in that regard.
There were some smaller things that I also think can be improved with time, like replacing the front door glass, adding a full body mirror, etc. but those are small things. Overall a decent place to stay, especially if you just need a place to sleep.
