It was disappointing from the start. There was only ONE chair in the entire place and no table to set coffee or whatever. About halfway thru the visit, she did supply a coffee table. The whole "seating" thing was a hassle.
My husband is disabled and it is much easier if I can park close to the entrance to my door. I was asked to park in the street several nights because she had to work. It was not very far, but like I said, with a disabled person to care for, closer would have been better
We left several days early because it was just to difficult for my husband to get around. It was hard to get from living room to bedroom because of the way the bed was placed. I suggested a solution but she said she had stuff ordered. Basically, sge rented the place before it was ready. I have text messages to support my claims.
She has a photo of a small tear in the carpet- maybe 2 inches. From what I could see, it could have been repaired in 15 minutes. $130 seems excessive, plus we did not tear her carpet. Whoever dropped make-up on the bathroom rug probably did it.
Also, there was a mix up wrt the date we would arrive. Since the place was empty, she let us stay. We paid her $200 by personal check to cover it. We did not go through Home Away.
The place could be great for a stay in that area, but she needs to finish getting it ready for guests. She seemed like a nice person but she really is not a very knowledgeable landlord. If you are going to charge people to stay at your place, there are certain things you must be responsible for.
As for the "place".... 5 on the outside probably 3.5 on the inside.
