I’ve asked for cooperation from the host/property manager and have not received it. At most I would hope this doesn’t happen to anyone else. DO NOT BOOK THIS PROPERTY!!
The gate code did not work and the gate ended up being open 24-7. This took away from the security they sold us on. The property was described as “newly remodeled”. It was far from it. The property has an eroded bathroom sink, rusted falling off the wall shower curtain, and stained up bathtub. On top of it not being remodeled the property was not property clean either. The property furnishings were far below par. The bed seemed it was about to fall apart, the sheets were stained, there was a dent in the stove, the shower curtain only consisted of the thinnest piece of plastic you could imagine with holes in it. There were folding chairs in place of bar stools for the “breakfast nook”. The water in the unit was lukewarm at best. The more frustrating part with this is the property manager knew of the problem prior to our stay and failed to mention this to us to allow us to choose another place to stay from the beginning. We had to adjust our schedule the following morning to ensure we had access to water before it being shut off. Communication – The communication is horrible. I messaged the host the following morning after deciding not to put up with this. They did not respond, so another message was sent just after 24-hours. They did respond after a second message, but no communication after that.
