I'm a solo, female business traveler. At the airport a staff member was waiting with a sign to take me to the hotel by tuk tuk. It's a 30+ minute drive, so very nice for them to pick me up (I emailed to ask). The hotel is an oasis in hectic, gritty Phnom Penh. It's a bit far from the sights (20-25 minutes to Riverside) but worth it. The staff and owners are literally the nicest I've ever encountered, SO accommodating, thoughtful, and organized. ANYTHING I needed help with they gave generous assistance, including arranging tuk tuks, driving me to the bus in their personal car (I was nervous about being in a tuk tuk with my camera & computer), and even giving me a pen when mine ran out of ink! Sincere and amazing customer service.
I got a garden view room which was beautiful and had all the accoutrements I could want, and very private also. The only unpleasant part, which is no fault of the hotel, is that the neighbors on the garden side have a rooster who starts crowing at dawn and keeps up for a couple hours. So go prepared! I put ear plugs in and simultaneously played noise cancelling videos of rain on YouTube.
There's a mini-mart attached to the hotel with reasonable prices.
Breakfast was yummy, I had the fried noodles one day and pancakes the other. They gave me an early check-in and allowed me to stay late since they were driving me to the Giant Ibis bus in the afternoon. It doesn't get better than that!
