The apartment was nice and cozy. The only problems were that the room was freezing cold when we arrived and there is only one means of heating for the space and it took over 3 hours for the room to get warm enough to take off your coat and shoes. In addition, the water temperature in the shower doesn’t get hot enough at all.

My friends and I traveled to Philly for a concert and stayed at the Mint. The location of the hotel was perfect. There were so many dinning options and we were just a 5 minute walk from the concert venue.

The stay was very good. There won’t be anyone really in the front desk unless you get lucky, but they will give you the instructions in the email. Once you’ve entered in, you should go straight to the elevator and the info of the place will be inside the elevator above the bottons.

Arriving is tricky and not so clear, but once you find your way to the studio, the place is very nice, clean, quiet, well located, in a nice area. Now that I know how to find the studio, I would go back.

Our room was clean and pretty. Amazing location. However, hallways smelled smoky and dingy, and it took so long to carry our bags to our room. We parked in the lower garage and couldn’t figure out how to get the elevator to our hall. No one at the check in desk. Calls went to vm. Frustrating, but worth it for the great price, great spot, comfy room.

Rooms are modern, spacious and clean. There’s a full kitchen with utensils, coffee maker, fridge, and a kettle. Felt like we were right at home. There are no staff in the building. It’s completely contactless check-in using a building and room code emailed to you a day prior to your visit. There’s a parking garage to the side of the building which charges $25/day. But we found street meter parking just outside instead because we were constantly coming and going and didn’t know whether the garage allows in/out privileges. Only thing I’m wary about is the pre-check in process. You have to submit a picture of your ID and a selfie to verify your identity, as well as your card info for security deposit, and give your consent to a background check. Who knows if those information will get leaked one day from their system in a hack, all from giving up my information for a one night stay. I’d appreciate it if Mint House was more transparent about their privacy policies pertaining to guest information.

The Mint House Philadelphia was excellent. The room was great. New, very clean, lots of space, comfy bed and having a full kitchen was a added bonus. It was very quiet. The staff was nice. Had a short wait for staff member to come downstairs to check out though no big deal. I would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the apartment we stayed in, however when arriving to the property we had no idea how to get inside the building, there was no one in the lobby to help you get inside. Another guest had to help us into the property and show us where to go. Definitely think someone should be in the lobby at all times, or give the guests the codes prior to their arrival.
