The pictures are nothing of what the place looks like. They are under construction but it was not disclosed. We picked hotel because there was supposed to be restaurant and bar and we were shocked that there was neither. Nothing walking distance open past 12am for a drink. Breakfast had syrup with no pancakes or waffles. They had bagels with no cream cheese. They had eggs that were like sandy and spongy. The elevator had an exploded ketchup packet on the floor for over 24 hours. I rented 3 rooms and at checkin they acted like I was nuts because I was using cash. Was not a welcoming feeling. I was there 4 nights and every single dat I had to go re activate my key card for all 3 rooms. I had my 80 year old elderly mom who had trouble walking and couldn’t get into room. Then my room blinds were broken would not go up but after a day of darkness I figured out how to fix them myself. My mirror had a babies handprint on it the entire stay. Room service never wiped it. It was there when I checked in. Then I get back one day and see a sign in the elevator saying the following morning at 7am that they are turning water off until 3pm. Who does that? I have an 80 year old mom who needs access to water. I did send emails and reached out to hotel on Facebook and received no response from this hotel. FYI.. my mom passed away the day we returned home from this dumpy hotel. Don’t chose this hotel. There are better ones close by.

The only thing I didn't like was that the ice machines weren't working on either floor. Aside from thay it was an excellent experience. Salvatore ,as well as the front desk manager, provided exceptional quality service. I would certainly recommend and stay again!

There are a ton of renovations being done. There is no space to hang out outside your room. Only one ice machine worked and it wasn't the one on my floor. I had to ask at the front desk to find out. Every afternoon our key card stopped working and had to be reset. When we requested housekeeping, they did not empty our trash. The bed was uncomfortable. Breakfast was excellent though, with plenty of variety and hot food and good quality. The staff was kind and helpful when asked.

We stayed here to go to a concert at Parx Casino. For us it’s an easy walk, even in the sleet, over to the casino from the hotel. Clean, convenient, and friendly staff. 2nd time we stayed here and we’ll stay again for anything at Parx.

Beautiful place. If you’re aiming to stay here to go to the casino next door, I am sure it’s convenient! I stayed because my family lives in Philly and I visited for Christmas, so it was beautiful for that as well. If looking for a hotel to be close to downtown (center city) this is not it!

Tried to check in around 4:00pm on December 7th, 2024, so I could get into my room after driving 3 1/2 hours and get a shuttle by 4:15 for my nieces wedding. I almost missed the shuttle, when I was checking in the girl that was helping me told me that I did not have a reservation and that I needed to pay. I had paid $163.50 on Nov 25. 2024 with Expedia. I have her my conformation number (she took it off my phone) she could not find anything, then I read it to her and still could not find anything . Now there were other people in the lobby and I was getting embarrassed, then she asked a coworker and then she said something about a temporary credit card that she needed to enter to see if it would work for my room. Then tells me that I have to give a $250.00 security deposit. It was a horrible and embarrassing check in experience. Never did they apologize to me. Would not have been happy if I had missed the shuttle for my nieces wedding. Deb Delaney

Rooms were just Ok. Heater on a 36 degree night didn't seem to work despite attempting for 30 mins. No blankets or bedspread. Bathroom needed some finish work. Only good thing was the proximity to the Parx Casino.

Everything was okay except the bed. Absolutely awful. Rock hard and you could feel the springs. The room could use a refresh. Stained wallpaper in the bathroom, very poor lighting in the bathroom, just overall dated. Staff is super friendly and helpful so there's a plus!
