My recent stay at this hotel was shockingly disappointing, especially given its positive online reviews. The property was visibly dirty. The carpets in my room were disgustingly stained, and the elevator was grimy, with dirt clearly visible along the edges. Overflowing trash cans littered the hallways, compounding the uncleanliness.
The room's phone didn't work, making it impossible to contact the front desk. When I tried calling from my cell, no one answered. I went down to the lobby, only to find it deserted. I waited 15 minutes before a staff member finally appeared. This lack of front desk coverage is deeply concerning, particularly in case of a guest emergency.
Adding to the problems, the bathroom light flickered violently, making it unusable. I couldn't even take a shower. While the hotel offered to move me, I was checking out in just two hours and the hassle of packing and moving seemed pointless. Since I desperately needed a shower before leaving, they allowed me to use the bathroom in an adjacent, unoccupied room.
This room was in poor condition. The dead bolt lock was broken, a light switch was damaged, and the room reeked of cigarette smoke. The hotel's maintenance standards are clearly subpar.
I chose this hotel based on its Google ratings. After this terrible experience, I revisited the reviews and noticed many that seemed suspiciously repetitive, raising concerns about their authenticity.
My stay was truly awful. I strongly advise potential guests
