Hotels near Pfäffikon SZ Station

"Just to keep things in perspective, the issues I had seemed to be temporary due to construction but none the less what I experienced. The room was extremely hot. When I called down to the front desk to ask about it, they told me it was a known issue and should be fixed the next day. It was very hot for a couple days and then a little more managable the rest of the week but I had to keep the balcony door open the entire time (Febuary) just to keep the room at a manageable temp. The water also randomly and repeatedly went from scalding hot to cold during my showers which was fun. Other than that, its a no frills hotel but clean (aside from the construction) and in a good location (right across from the train station). I chose this place because of its location and the gym which is actually offsite but thats not a big deal. I might give it a try again and hope its better next time. "

"This was a peaceful and quiet retreat in Einsiedeln. 20.minute walk to the abbey or train station, about 8 minutes to the nearest bus stop. Theres plenty of nature around the property, and my room had a twin bed, a sink, a chair and table and a closet. I also had a big window for fesh air. I think this is a great option for travelers and hikers. Breakfast is served every morning and i was able to sit in the small library and visit the onsite chapel. I They also have a playground and basketball court. I will stay here everytime i visit Einsiedeln "

"We stayed here for a night to look around the town. The hotel is well located with an underground ar park and is about 5-10 minutes walk from the old town and lake. Our room was a good size with plenty of power sockets and working USB outlets. It was a no frills room but everything we needed, clean and modern. The shower was excellent and the bed was comfortable. Staff were wonderful and the check in was lovely. There’s also a nice lounge too. Parking was 30CHF for the underground car park but there are cheaper options nearby."

"Rooms are huge for European hotels. Clean, comfortable beds and shades could eliminate all outside lighting. Breakfast bar was better than most European hotels I have been to in many years. Staff were eager to help make your day/stay a great one. I’ll be back."
