"A really old house with a mix of very old and very modern furniture-really quirky. Very spacious property,well kitted out with all amenities. Situated in beautiful countryside with lots of attractions nearby. We were overwhelmed by the effort our hosts made for us and felt like old friends by the time we left. Cannot recommend highly enough. Maryse and Regis are special hosts with the gift of hospitality."

"I cannot put into words how good our time in Escala was. Graham was absolutely incredible as a host, and the house is impeccable. It’s a perfect getaway for friends and family, in the most scenic picturesque location. The house has everything: a pool, jacuzzi, plenty of common areas, a second house!! But Should neighborhood store be closed Aldi is not to far.away. Great place to unwind and recharge. Cows are just down the road, they made me so happy. Car required."

The pool is a great feature during a July heatwave. The hosts are friendly and welcoming. We were 4 adults in the area to attend Marciac Jazz Festival and Tempo Latino Festival and the property was conveniently located for doing both."

Kirsten, Anthony and Scoobie the dog are great hosts - very welcoming, easy going and knowledgeable about the local area and beyond. "The outside of the property is lovely. The pool is fabulous with a good seating area, however, we did have to clean the pool ourselves which we've never had to do at any other property we have rented. The interior of the house is very old and could do with having a thorough clean. There were a lot of cobwebs and some of the kitchen utensils weren't very clean. There was also a smell of soot in the lounge which exacerbated my daughters asthma so we chose not to use that room. Part of the house...

Located opposite a swimming pool, and the Agnes Varda Cinema, it couldn't have been more peaceful. Couldn't even hear the goats bleating from the surrounding hills! Have stayed here before.
