Way more than I expected. Clean, welcoming host beautiful garden to sit with a pint and a first class breakfast. It was a very nice experience.
Stayed in the taproom on ground floor for four nights. Very comfortable, bottled water in mini fridge every day as well as fruit on arrival. Ruth owner was really friendly and even got in some smoked salmon especially for breakfast. Nothing was too much trouble. Delicious breakfast.
A friend and I stayed in the Hop room for the night as we were attending a wedding nearby. The staff at the cricketers were welcoming and always on hand to help. The room was clean and tidy. We couldn’t connect to the wifi from our room but that was okay for us. We also had breakfast included which was delicious. A great stay.
Really friendly helpful staff, even took the time to come and inform us that they had a large party due to arrive so advised to order now or it would be a longer wait than usual
We had a great stay. A good sized room which was comfortable and very clean. The food was excellent and staff were helpful and friendly. We would definitely stay again if in the area and have no hesitation in recommending it.
A16th century coaching inn. Loads of charm. Great food and large choice of drinks. The staff were extremely helpful and welcoming. The accommodation is within a totally converted hay barn and has been refurbished to a very high standard. Extremely clean with high end bedding and towels provided. Great value. Highly recommended.
Staff were all very friendly and the upstairs room we stayed in was exceptional in its cleanliness. The bed was very comfortable and the sheets were crisp to the touch. We also had 2 nights of dinners and these were really nice too.
Just what we were looking for. Good location, accomodation, food and beer. Only two rooms but they are spotless and well kept, apart from the pub. Note that althugh the address is Petworth, the location is 3 or so miles southat Duncton. Very easy to find. Breakfast was cooked to order and like the meal the night before very enjoyable.
A lovely recently renovated room. Comfortable, clean and included a mini fridge with fresh milk for tea and coffee. All the staff were very friendly and our breakfast was freshly cooked to order. We also had an evening meal which was excellent.
