"Turned up on the day of the booking. Was advised on their website that someone was there from 1pm till 7pm each day. We got there a little after 2pm. The place was deserted. We rang the bell for CHECK IN as advised on a note on the front door. And waited as instructed in the note. Nothing. No one answered. "Check in and staff (cleaning and breakfast) were professional l. Excellent breakfast. Distinctly above average. The view of the lake was outstanding. The hotel is run down though. It has a 70s/80s vibe. Shame the owners haven't considered investing in a face lift. "
