This place is quaint and cute. Very close to all downtown restaurants and shops so planning our weekend was made very easy. Overall a great stay, clean place and easy to tidy up and left it as we came.
Convenient location for a family or small group. Walking distance to town with all of the basics. Not a quaint area but easy to get to all of the main spots. Nice stay.
The home is very cute! It had everything we needed inside and I liked the way it was decorated. It was kind of in a strange area but super close to everything we wanted to do during our stay. It was clean and well taken care of. We would definitely stay there again!!
We enjoyed our stay immensely. It was close to the shopping and downtown district with great places to eat AND close to the state park beach. The accommodations were great and my entire family wanted to buy the house and live there. Outside of a couple of hiccups, a curtain fell and a lot of spiders in house, and only one TV was hooked up to internet, it was a wonderful stay and we would definitely rent this property again.
Cute house that's a 10 minute walk from downtown. The space is done up very nicely and is comfortable to stay and hang out in. The back yard is also really nice. Gives you a chance to explore Petoskey and stay in. Would recommend
This house was perfect for us as we were Visiting Petoskey for a Softball Tournament. We loved how close it was to both of the locations where my team played and how easy it was for my children to feel at home. Cute home!!
The house was nice and there was plenty of room for us as this was a family holiday stay. Kitchen was easy to cook in and the big dining room table fit all of us. It may be the age of the house, but there was very little hot water for us. Other than that, it was a relaxing stay and met our needs.

Petoskey home
Older house that has been very nicely redone. Close to downtown Petoskey. Amenities are decent. Bummer that it is across the street from a construction area. there was some early morning noise.
We were in Petosky for a beautiful family wedding. This house was perfect for my family. We were able to host a couple small gatherings with family. Using the outdoor patio/table and the indoor kitchen/dining areas. The kids loved having their own bedrooms and it was nice to have 3 bathrooms. We walked to the trail along the river and were close enough to downtown to enjoy the festivities there too.
This place was just as it was advertised. The check-in process was easy and all of the rooms, beds, and common areas were cozy. The location was several blocks from downtown, thus the bargain price. We enjoyed bike riding in nearby Bear River Recreational park and then into downtown to enjoy the amenities Petoskey has to offer. We loved the convenience of tv's in many of the rooms, board games for the rainy day we had, and the back yard for sitting on the deck & storing our bikes. Would recommend!
We had booked this house within walking distance of town. It ended up with some yard construction the day we arrived. We were offered a condo in place of the house, which we accepted. The condo was clean, comfortable and well stocked. We loved the back porch. It was near several stores and not a long drive to Petoskey or Harbor Springs. Our family would stay there again.
The house provided plenty of space for our group! The beds were extremely comfortable, it was nicely decorated and with six adults we especially appreciated having three bathrooms. The first night, the upstairs was extremely warm, but we were able to adjust/figure out the thermostat settings for a more comfortable sleep for night two. There were a few little things you’d expect with an older home (water pressure, slow drain in the bathroom sink, etc), but nothing that had any significant impact on an enjoyable trip. The location is next to more of an industrial area, which might be a concern (noise) in the spring/summer months.
Overall, the house is fine. Just a few minutes of someone pulling weeks in front would make a big difference. Inside, the house was clean and cute. There is not a lot of seating in the living area, but for our group of four it worked fine. Although you could certainly walk to town if you choose to, it is several blocks and we drove.
Wasn’t at the property long. Basically just to sleep for the night. Everything was clean. Descriptions were accurate. Owner apologized for yard not being up to snuff which was totally understood being the time of year. Would use again and recommend. Thanks

Inaccurate description
The property was across from a construction site that started work at 630a. The shower was hot for one person. The couch smelled like old smoking.
Overall, cute home close to downtown Petoskey! It is a great value for the price.
While some of the reviews mention the home is close to an industrial area (and it is), our group felt safe as it is close to many other houses. It was also very close to downtown Petoskey and walkable to downtown.
The house was very cute with lots of areas to sit and spacious rooms. The backyard had lawn chairs and patio furniture. The house is a little bit older and had a musty smell, but it’s what I would expect with any older, up north home.
Lastly, the host was great and very easy to reach. We had a question about Wi-Fi and he was very responsive and helpful!
Poorly maintained property, inside and out and lacking in basic amenities- ie- cookware, hair dryer, a comfortable place to sit as a group, among others. Reviews from a year ago mention poor landscaping, wobbly table, musty smell, lack of sufficient hot water. Window AC units installed in a sloppy and unprofessional manner. All of these things are still the case. We were expecting a cute older home based on photos. It’s not what we got.
Communication with property manager was also poor. I needed to call, text and email several times at different numbers before getting a response.
If you like to sleep in or enjoy quiet, you will be bothered by the construction noise across the street.
