"Room was small, no air conditioning so had to try to sleep with window open. People smoking and talking outside until early hours of morning so very little sleep. There was an odour which we believe was coming from full rubbishy the bins close by. "

"Hotel is clean and bed is comfortble, if decor is slightly shabby. It is fine for an overnight stay when on a journey. Handy for Les Sables d'Olonne which is a nice port with good restaurants. We arrived late so the restaurant was closed but the hotel has a late check in which is useful."

"We were so happy with our stay here. We had an extended family visit to see puy du foy. The accommodation was very large and perfect for our big group, the grounds were beautiful and the children loved the outside space. We would not hesitate to stay here again. The host was beyond helpful and was very kind after my daughter twisted her ankle in the garden (entirely her own fault as she fell over a football the children had been playing with)."

"The room was full of little flies hanging around the lights, a few of them already dead. When we pulled down the window curtain, we had the unpleasant surprise of discovering a cemetery of squished flies stuck onto it - see pictures. The bathroom also did not smell very good. Definitely not recommended. Il y avait beaucoup de moucherons dans notre chambre, la plupart vivants, d'autres déjà morts, et le rideau coulissant de la fenêtre était artistiquement constellé de cadavres de moucherons...

"Quiet little bungalows with aircon, confortable beds and private bathroom. There are tables and seats on the terrasse in front of each room, very nice for lunch outside. The room was basic but quite spacious and had everything we needed as we stay 3 nights to visit Puy du Fou (5 min by car). Very convenient to get home quickly after the night shows free on site parking. "Beautiful chateau a little bit out of the way, Main restaurant is very good, make reservations. Room was large and comfortable. Staff was helpful. No elevator on the top floor is problematic. "

"The hotel was convenient for the route we were on. The receptionist was friendly. The room was clean and tidy but minimalist. The room was small with bed against the wall so accessible from one side only. The bed itself was comfortable. Being convenient for the route it was also noisy all night if you are a light sleeper ear plugs would help. But it was cheap! "

"Maybe it was my fault but I did not realise there were communal showers and toilets. You have to pay for a towel-small charge. The bed was the worst I have ever slept in-it appeared to be a solid piece of foam. The wifi stopped working in the morning and was not repaired. The staff do not speak english and did nothing about the wifi. Maybe you get for you pay for!"

"Rather basic, but spotlessly clean with comfortable beds. No hair dryer and only one small bar of soap for three people. No paper towels. Mugs were too small for a normal cup of coffee. Having said all that, I'd happily stay here again. "

"We chose this property for the reasonable price and proximity to Puy du Fou and it served us well.
