Petersburg is not a bad place to stay. Like any city it has its ups and downs but if you just stay to yourself and family you will be fine.
Downtown Petersburg did not have any dining options, many run down houses, closed stores
I love the restaurant behind the hotel called Phat Phillies. It's great.
Based on the sites mentioned here, I would like to revisit. However, no way would I recommend Flagship Inn. No blanket? come on. I just wanted out of there.
