"Hotel Tandem was a wonderful place to stay. The room was spacious and beautifully decorated. The hotel was great, I loved the location and being across from the train station, and only about 10 minutes from the center of the old town. I also loved that the hotel offers bike rentals which allowed me to have a great bike adventure on one of my days. I would highly recommend and can’t wait for another chance to visit. "

"This property was absolute perfection! We visited while in Strasbourg for the Christmas Markets. Rooms were excellent, staff was amazing, breakfast was perfect and the small restaurant/bar in the lobby was wonderful. I would recommend this property to anyone!"

"Excellent hotel, quiet despite being right opposite the Railway Station, I was upgraded to what I believe is one of the newly refurbished rooms on arrival, lovely comfortable bed, everything was clean and worked. Small area at reception where one could purchase snacks and various alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks Excellent Breakfast with a good selection of food and drinks available in the morning, would certainly stay here again if visiting Strasbourg or just staying overnight"

"Excellent hotel! Room with queen bed was very large. Updated bathrooms and bedroom. This hotel felt like a 4 star hotel. It was right on the canal and the heart of the city. Very highly recommended for the price. We visited in early March so the price may have been more reasonable. "

"For 3 stars it was a nice boutique hotel. My only comment was the room, it was spacious and clean however you can hear water running through the plumbing system anytime any room is using the bathroom. This didn’t matter during the day, but at night it can get annoying. "

"I loved the location. So close to the Christmas markets. Only thing, it’s so close that when I arrived, my taxi couldn’t drop me off in front. I had to walk with my luggage about 2-3 blocks. I was exhausted from travel so that was an unpleasant surprise. The room has the toilet separated from the shower and sink which is unusual to me. But comfortable room with great location. "

"Staff was very friendly. Walkable to sites but not much in the area directly. The room was over all clean but had quit a bit of mildew in the bathroom ceiling. Enjoyed the breakfast with many options!"

"We spent a week with 3 generations gathering from several locations in the world to celebrate Christmas. The house was perfect for our group - private rooms for all, plenty of space to allow for gatherings and private time, well-equipped as we cooked almost every meal, and the billiard room was a favorite for lots of fun and laughter! "This is a beautiful hotel! The restaurant in the hotel serves delicious food at reasonable prices. The area around the hotel is like a Hallmark Christmas town. The Christmas market was in the same town square and the atmosphere was very festive. A magical stay! "

"What a find - a hotel in a working convent that used to be a palace! Breakfast nice, dinner excellent. Good choice of wines and beer. Room spotlessly clean, nice size. Grounds beautifully kept. Lovely long walking trails in the woods behind the convent. Plenty of safe parking. Very tranquil, absolutely top class, and at a very fair price. This is the second time I have stayed there, and will do so again. "

Adorable little typical Alsatian house, free wifi

Enjoyably quirky!

"We had a 3 night stay here on the the long drive north from Italy. The 'little house' is just that. Spacious for two, very well equipped and very clean and well presented. Parking is right outside the door. The 'farm' is set in the village centre. Completely renovated, it boasts several large barns and a large courtyard. Our hosts were delightful. A few goodies, including delicious homemade jams for the breakfast baguette. The courtyard and barns are stuffed with old artifacts and the large shady garden is accessible and very pleasant indeed. It's a fascinating place. The hosts were very accommodating and helpful but privacy is ensured. On the edge of the garden is a large platform on a pole with a Storks nest on top! The Stork pair roosted there and it was delightful to watch their antics from the patio. The local area was lovely and the nearby Lalique museum was wonderful. A great property to stay in."
