"My family and I loved our time at Ron's cottage! There was so much for all of us to do; we had a great time kayaking, playing badminton and having s'mores by the fire at night. We also really enjoyed fishing in the canoe as well as playing pool and air hockey in the games room! Inside the house is very nice and had the cottage vibe we were looking for and the newly renovated dock was perfect for the surprise I had planned, which was a proposal to my now fiancé! "We loved our stay at the cottage! The lake was so peaceful, clear warm water. It was exactly what we were looking for and more! Rustic cottage, water toys, hanging on the dock or the beach, bonfires, fishing, exploring, sunrise paddles. The dogs were the happiest being off leash and exploring, swimming, dock diving. 10/10 recommend 👌 "

"We had a wonderful stay at this lovely, clean cottage! Everything was perfectly prepared for our arrival, and the communication with the host was seamless and very accommodating. The location is unbeatable, situated directly on the lake, offering stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. The cottage is also well-equipped with entertainment options for kids, both indoors and outdoors, which kept them happily engaged throughout our stay. "The property is beautiful and the inside looks nice but that’s where the positive ends. Upon arrival at 4:00 we could not enter because there was a cleaner there still cleaning. Upon entry, a half hour later, the floors were soaking wet and slippery. The garbages were not empty in the bathrooms. The bedding was not freshly laundered. "The 5 Acre Woods property was exactly as described and more. The property is very private due to the large lot and the many trees. Exactly what we were looking for. I loved that we could enjoy a wood fire both inside in the wood stove and outside in the fire pit. The inside has been updated and is very comfortable for a cooler rainy day if you don’t want to venture outside. But the outside is where the property really shines. "Exactly what we were looking for ... a wonderful charming cottage with everything we needed. Lots of space for everyone and the bunkies are great for spreading out. We love the fall and did enjoy a little quieter time of year. All had a great time in the water and we did some fishing ... everybody had a great time. Will make this a regular family gathering !!"

"The property location and facilities are all excellent for all age groups. We enjoyed our stay. Like most places, there were a few minor repairs to attend to but our list was received positively. We'll know better when we go back the next time. We would recommend this rental highly and we hope to return."

"Cozy, true canadian cottage with ample space for a group. Be aware though that 2 of the bedrooms are *not* private. While there is what is essentially a divider, its not a full wall to the hall or the other room. So if you need quiet and youre next to someone who snores, its gunna be a rough tjme."
