"La Torre Holiday Home" is a typical Tuscan house, placed in the small village of Castelvecchio di Pescia, in the heart of the so-called "Switzerland Pesciatina".

The holiday home is characterized by a recent renovation that has been made

The home has two levels, the first level which is connected to the kitchen where you can prepare your meals during your accommodation.

The level is completed by the first bathroom with a washing machine.

At the second level you have two separate rooms with double bed. In each room a kid could be added if necessary. The second bathroom is a shower and a bathtube too for your relaxing moments.

The best place to have a good glass of Tuscan wine.

In the external area there is also space for a barbecue in the summer.

The house is equipped with all the tools you need.

In the autumn and winter season, the house is equipped with a heating system. The guest will find the fireplace already provided.

Very special Tuscan home
From beginning to end, this stay was amazing. Best and most beautiful place we've stayed yet. The village of Castelveccio is so lovely, and the views day and night are stunning. Communication with Arianna and her brother, Giacomo was superb throughout, and both were very helpful. Although this place is remote, there is a very good restaurant within a short walk. And walk you will. Not for anyone with mobility issues, because you will walk up and down steep cobblestone streets. DO come if you want to get plenty of exercise! That said, Pescia is a short roadtrip away, and has good train access to any city you would like to reach. Wonderful stay! Thank you Arianna and Giacomo! Grazie mille!

Fabulous!
Arianna was fantastic at making us feel welcome and like we were at home. As our first time in Tuscany, Italy it was everything we wanted and more. Plenty of space inside and out and even though the weather wasn’t the greatest the views and scenery always made up for it. The house itself is a climb from the car, as you’d imagine in a medieval street no cars can drive around the village. You need a hire car for the location and it worked great for us. 15mins into the nearest town where you’ve got Lidl and Coop for everything you need. We always took the train from Pescia for our site seeing in Florence, Lucca and Siena, it’s cheap enough, free parking and stress free. 45mins drive takes you to the start of the SR222 road from Florence to Siena and if you have a hire car this is a must do as the views are spectacular! Overall a brilliant stay and we would definitely come again!

Glorious Tuscan Hideaway
One of the most delightful places on earth is Castelvecchio. My husband and I spent the whole month of April 2019 in this beautiful condo. Castelvecchio is a little medieval village way up in the mountains of Northern Tuscany. We used this condo as our home base traveling to Rome, Venice, Southern Tuscany, Siena and Florence. Arianna Marchini is a beautiful person who helped us book railroad tickets for these trips. We would love to return to this special spot in Italy. Very beautiful house, very clean,
Perfect house, perfect host, house was warm and cozy when we arriveren, only remark that we have is that we missed a mirror in downstaires bathroom and in the kitchenette some more pans would be Nice and more nives to prepare dinner would be Nice. Tip; electronic water cooker. We would Stay here again anytime.

Such a fantastic house, setting, and owners!
We had a lovely 3 days in la Torre, the house is amazing, even better than the photos, with loads of great features and such great views! There is a lovely space outside for sitting/eating and a BBQ. The village is great, and are at least 3 great restaurants in easy walking distance. Pescia nearby has supermarkets. If you need any supplies though there are reasonably priced staples available in the house. Giacomo and Arianna were so welcoming and helpful, and check-in and check-out were all really easy. They were really accommodating with arrival and departure times. Highly recommended!

A unique and special experience of Italy
La Torre is above and beyond any holiday rental we have previously experienced for its unique historic qualities combined with the comforts and luxuries of modern life. Magnificent views, naturally cooled with fresh air from the mountains, private and inviting outdoor area with BBQ and ample space to share with friends. A stay at La Torre provides the possibility to experience the daily life of an Italian town away from the crowds. Our stay began with a welcome from the the whole host family to assist us from the car park with our luggage. From that point onwards we had complete privacy but when we did want to be involved in the town's activities, Arianna and her family were so responsive to our requests and welcomed us into their family group on community occasions. It was an experience like no other we have had in all our years of travel. We were invited to be part of the rituals and celebrations of this beautiful town. We delighted in the Sunday morning pop up shop pastries from the hall across road along with Sangria and Doughnuts nights in the piazza. Walking through town always drew friendly greetings from all of the villagers. Arianna also provided a personal tour of the churches and historical places of the town. Touring nearby towns, the natural swimming area and trail walks nearby with views of historic churches and mills. It was amazing and we've never been happier with our accommodation choice. 6 out of 5 stars if we could!

Das Dorf Castelvecchio und das Haus sind ein wunderschöner Ort zum Geniessen und Abschalten. Die Einrichtung ist sehr liebevoll und es ist alles da, was man braucht. Der Empfang war sehr herzlich und der Willkommenskorb mit Kräutern, Tomaten und frischen Eiern sehr liebevoll. Umgeben vom italienischem Dorfleben, unkomplizierter Leichtigkeit, hilfsbereiten Menschen und einem phantastischen Blick in die Natur, lässt sich Urlaub machen. Unbedingt das fußläufige Restaurant "La Pieve" oben an der Kirche ausprobieren. In Pescia gibt es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und die Familie des Ferienhauses ist jederzeit ansprechbar. Wer Touristen und Trubel braucht, ist hier falsch. Wer aber Ruhe, authentisches Dorfleben und Genuss sucht, ist hier goldrichtig. Danke für diese tolle Zeit.

Tolles Haus in wunderschönem kleinen Ort
Das Haus liegt relativ weit oben in einem sehr kleinen alten Ort. Der Weg hinauf zum Haus kann nicht ganz mit dem Auto gefahren werden, also muss man einiges selbst hochlaufen. Falls man gehbehindert ist, könnte das unter Umständen recht anstrengend oder schwer sein. Das Haus selbst ist liebevoll und hochwertig renoviert, die Fotos sind sehr zutreffend. Der Ausblick von der sehr schönen Terasse ist wunderschön. Das Bett war sehr bequem, das Bad groß und sehr komfortabel. Insgesamt war das Haus sehr sauber. Die Austattung der Küche reichte uns, wir haben allerdings auch nicht gekocht ;-) Der Kontakt zur vermietenden Familie war sehr nett, alle sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Im gesamten Ort gibt es drei Restaurants, zwei sind ca. 2 km entfernt den Berg runter, eines ca. 500 m den Berg hoch (La pieve). Im la pieve haben wir wunderbar und sehr gut gegessen (die Pasta dort ist ein Gedicht!). Insgesamt ein super schöner und toller Urlaub. Vielen Dank!

Wat een mooie locatie en fijne eigenaren. Zonder twijfel een aanrader. We hebben hier prima kunnen wandelen, lekker gegeten, steden bezocht. Het dorpje zelf en de daaromheen liggende dorpjes zijn sprookjesachtig. Wat een cadeau om hier een week te hebben mogen verblijven.

Wie nach Hause kommen
Wir waren das erste Mal in der Toscana und das erste Mal in Italien überhaupt. Una fantastica vacanza
Siamo una famiglia con 3 ragazzi tra i 12 e 10 anni. A casa di Arianna ci siamo trovati molto bene: l’arredamento molto curato, la pulizia impeccabile, il piccolo giardino terrazzato rilassante e con una vista magnifica. Schönes Dorf mit netten Dorfbewohnern
Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit allen Annehmlichkeiten, die wir so brauchen. Das Dorf liegt abgelegen in den Bergen mit tollem Ausblick und auch sehr netten Dorfbewohnern. Wer gerne ein wenig die Ruhe genießt ist hier richtig.

Traumhaft und sympathisch
Abseits des touristischen Trubbels auf dem Berg, mitten im mittelalterlichen Ortskern, superschön und ruhig gelegen. Haus ist typisch toskanisch eingerichtet mit kleiner Liegeterasse für vier Personen. Herrliche Aussicht von der überdachten Terasse. Gasgrill und Außenküche daneben waren toll. Wir fühlten uns sofort wohl. Renovierung und Einrichtung geschmackvoll. Bad und Küche mit viel Platz. Zweites Badezimmer und zwei Schlafzimmer (bequeme Betten) sehr angenehm. Guter Wein ist (fürs erste) vorhanden. Arianna (Weltklasse) war für uns eine perfekte Gastgeberin, jederzeit ansprechbar. Sehr aufmerksam und überaus hilfsbereit ( z.B. Restaurants im Umland); auch der Papa. Lernten auch Nonna Maria (90 Jahre) kennen. Wir wohnten im Ortskern neben dem Turm. Kleinlaster (Funigone) kommt täglich außer Sonntag) gegen 9 uhr mit dem Nötigsten hoch zum Brunnen (Brot, Nudeln, Frucht, Gemüse etc.). Toaster, Kaffee- und Waschmaschine, Kühl-/Gefrierkombi vorhanden. Athmosphäre wird durch täglich musizierenden Nachbarn ergänzt. Katzenliebhaber finden in Castelvecchio viele anschmiegsame Schmusetiger. Fahrt rauf und runter mit italienischem Gegenverkehr manchmal atemberaubend, Bergerfahrung und schmale Autos von Vorteil. Vom Parkplatz (genügend vorhanden), 100 m fußläufig zum Wohnhaus, etliche Treppenstufen (Fitness). Mehere Restaurants in 10 bis 15 Minuten erreichbar. Empfehlung: "Da Carla" mit echter Holzofenpizza (Legna al Forno), unbedingt Fagiolli di Sorana probieren. Möglichst reservieren (ab ca. 20 Uhr sehr voll). Ci vediamo presto.... volentieri ...

comodità e tranquillità
La casa è bella, molto curata ed accogliente, con una bella terrazza soleggiata (ma pur essendo settembre, faceva molto caldo e ci siamo dovuti ritirare all'ombra!) e un bel giardino, quasi sempre ventilato, con splendida vista sulle colline circostanti. Arianna è stata gentilissima e sempre disponibile, garantendo un soggiorno davvero piacevole.

Tutto perfetto dalla prenotazione al check-out, rapidità e chiarezza nella comunicazione Accoglienza calorosa e allo stesso tempo professionale La casa è molto bella e curata in ogni dettaglio, attrezzata di tutto il necessario, pulitissima e sanificata come richiesto dall’odierno contesto. Lo spazio esterno molto bello e super attrezzato offre un’incantevole vista sulle colline adiacenti. Infine la gentilezza di Arianna e il piacevole pensiero di benvenuto sono stati un più che abbiamo molto apprezzato. Ein besonderer Urlaub
Diese Ferienwohnung ist wirklich etwas ganz besonderes - Idyllisch gelegen in einem kleinen Dörfchen, liebevoll eingerichtet, mit allem ausgestattet, was man sich wünscht und obendrein eine sehr sehr nette Familie, die uns so herzlich begrüßt hat. Absolute Empfehlung!
