"Great location in an elevated position, five minutes out of town. Peaceful, with a pool and room to relax after a day of sight seeing. Breakfast very good. Host friendly and helpful. It would have been good to have had a washing machine to use, and an iron and ironing board, because it’s a place to stay several nights, and tea and coffee making facilities in the room would also be great, as there is a little fridge in each room."

"The B&B is actually a small apartment with two bedrooms and a kitchen. Has a great view of the valley below. We arrived really late at night and couldn't find it, but the owner met us at a gas station, guided us to the B&B and had dinner waiting for us - what a great service and friendly people. They speak only Italian but also some French, so communication is a bit complicated - but they make it work.."

"The best! La Locanda Della Castellana is the absolute best stay in the Gargano peninsula. We actually cancelled our next hotel and extended our stay. The location is stunning with incredible views. It’s quiet, comfortable, well maintained and central to everywhere you need to go. The service is impeccable: attentive, friendly and professional. Thank you so much for your hospitality. "

"Reservation not honoured and moved without choice to sister hotel called GusmayResort which instead of being in Pischici was out in the country requiring a drive of 8km back to eat and of course unable to drink. Hotel was said to be higher quality but rooms were very small, bedding had holes in it and dining room resembled a school hall. Very poor quality."

"An exceedingly well run hotel with friendly, warm and attentive staff. Set in beautiful, private grounds with far reaching views of Peschici. The food was exquisite, I’d recommend anyone staying here to take the fixed price dinner and enjoy the delicious local produce and very reasonably priced wine selection. Breakfast was also amazing, one of the best I’ve enjoyed on my travels. Absolutely delighted to have found this wonderful little gem. "
