Housed in an ancient courtyard and recently restored, the house combines the charm of the typical architecture of the time with modern components. In the warm atmosphere created by the exposed beams, terracotta flooring, thick, dark and monachine windows on the windows, you will find all the comforts you need for your stay just a stone's throw from the city of love, Verona, declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Kitchen including oven, coffee machine, microwave, washing machine, dryer, air conditioning. The sleeping area, created in the attic part of the room, is designed to recreate a real protected nest. The living area houses a comfortable double sofa bed, which makes the cottage an ideal refuge, not only for the couple, but also for a family or a group of friends.
Once outside, after crossing the threshold, a cobbled pedestrian path that runs alongside the river (as you can see from the photos) will take you to the center of the medieval village in a few meters, where you can enjoy breakfast, offered by us, sitting on the banks Adige.
Pescantina is a medieval hamlet belonging to the municipalities of Valpolicella, awarded the gold medal for civil value for humanitarian merits during the Second World War. Listed among the Municipalities of the so-called "Wine Route", the production area for some of the finest wines in the world, Valpolicella is also part of the western sector of Lessinia
Pescantina is today chosen as a residence by many Veronese for its privileged position, the perfect combination of the tranquility of the village and the strategic proximity to both the historic center of Verona and Lake Garda. The village is covered by all the necessary services. A few meters from the cottage you can find, inserted in the typical architectural context, a bakery shop, a butcher shop, women's and men's clothing shops, a beauty center. Following the path that runs alongside the river, in a minute you will find yourself in the historic center with bars, taverns, take-away and non-takeaway pizzeria, tobacconist, newsagent, library and barber. At 500 meters a small commercial center houses a supermarket, post office, banks and shops of all kinds.
The town of Pescantina also hosts Aquardens, the largest thermal park in Italy, ideal for your moments of relaxation.
