Plitvice national park is a short walk away so we could enjoy the nature without having to start the car during our stay. "I was a little worried because of the cash payment requirement, but the property was pristine. The room was immaculate….and I am very particular. I would just recommend to bring your own hairdryer if styling is important to you. The bed was very comfortable, and the staff was first rate as was breakfast. I do not think it was expensive at all, with the multitude of home baked breads, cakes, and cookies. And the fresh fruits, vegetables, cheeses, meats, omelettes, and crispy bacon. Loved it! We had dinner at Lika Kuca (at entrance 1 of park). Fabulous food! Especially liked the Lika soup and the boneless chicken in apple juice. "
