This house is a factory conversion and full of character with interior design by renowned local opera singer - Penny Shaw
"Having spent countless nights in strange cities on tour as a singer I think I understand what people are looking for. I have set the house up to try to include every detail. Living just a block away I can personally vouch for the neighbourhood, location etc. and I am confident that you won't be disappointed if you book this house."

The terracotta stone flagged floor throughout the open plan living area and wooden floorboards upstairs. The full length glass 'cathedral' windows flooding the house with sunlight in the winter but remaining shady in the height of summer making it delightfully 'eco friendly'.
The apartment is furnished to the highest standard with a fully equipped kitchen and dining either inside or 'al fresco' in the private courtyard.
Modern conveniences include wireless internet, washing machine, heaters in all rooms, air-conditioning, TV, DVD and stylish furnishings.
In order to make your stay as comfortable as possible, freshly laundered sheets, bedding and towels are provided for your arrival.

Location

Located on the coast just 30 minutes from Perth's city centre, the bustling and dynamic port city of Fremantle has long been renowned for its eclectic mix of arty and alternative types.
It's streets buzz with the song of buskers, the side walks fill with a wild collection of art and music floats out from trendy cafés and bars.
This is an ideal place for visitors to Fremantle and is also close to South Beach. Hop on the Free CAT Bus and ride to all of Fremantle's attractions - featuring the famous cappuccino strip, Fremantle Markets, boutique shops, cafes, bars, restaurants are just around the corner.

Perth is easily accessed by train, bus, swan river, taxi and by car.

Day trips include the beautiful Swan valley were you can drive round and have a nice lunch at the local winery's, boutique breweries and restaurants, and Rottnest Island is just a 30 minute ferry ride from Fremantle.

Margaret River is a 2.5 hour drive south - which is home to WA's famous wine region and surfing spots!

Buyer beware !!
This property is vastly overpriced. The best that could be said is that it is in a great location. However, the place is in urgent need of a complete deep clean and some repair. When I arrived there were cobwebs and dust throughout. Precious guests shampoo bottles (10 in all) were left in the bathroom. Worst of all was that mattresses were stained as were all the pillows. The host replaced the pillows and one mattress pad and came and did a reasonably good job of removing the dust and webs. However, the filters of all the dams are clogged with dust and require deep cleaning. The place has only one opening window in addition to one door on each floor. There are no opening windows that would permit the apartment to benefit from the daily southerly wind. As a result, it is suffocatingly hot. Turning in the ancient air conditioning system looses globules of dust. The thing is so old that the filters don’t remain in place. Turning it on creates an effect somewhat akin to being in an aircraft hangar. The outside unit is both noisy and inefficient. It blasts hot air directly in your face by the front door and until the host provides a bucket to catch the discharge dripped onto the patio leaving a filthy mess of algae. I was shocked to discover that one of the beds had no mattress cover at all despite an obviously stained mattress. The shower curtain was too long so the bottom edge floated in the water. Having not been cleaned regularly, its bottom edge was grimy

Our stay was perfect. We loved the unit that was very clean and equipped in everything we needed. Great location with the beach pretty much across the road, plenty of boutique shops, restaurants and pubs and only 15 mns walk to Freo. We will definitely be back

My son, my three dogs and myself enjoyed our stay a lot. Everything was as described. Can’t really fault anything. Bathroom may need a bit of an update but nothing major. Location is great with all the little boutique shops, cafes and beach literally 5mns walk away. Highly recommend :)

Amazing house!!!
Amazing house, very conveniently located. Super close to the beach (a 4 min walk) and to nice little South Freo restaurants (Pizza! Tacos! And a really nice pub). The bus is super convenient to go to Fremantle or Perth. Communication with owners was very easy. The apartment has everything you need and is really beautiful. My friend has back problems and especially appreciated the good mattresses. We absolutely loved our stay here! Recommend 100%.
