Peaceful getaway
Mountolive studio is a lovely, peaceful escape in the hills and not too far away from Perth. Very clean and comfortable with plenty of walking opportunities and a nice pool. My fur baby loved all the new smells and areas to run. It’s just delightful and we will go back.

We will be back
We only stayed two nights and we are from 40 mins down the road but it felt like a world away! We loved having our dog everywhere with us, she’s reactive so it was peace of mind having the freedom for her to roam around. We played tennis, enjoyed bush walks and just soaked up the nature from the comfort of the couches. Planning when we can go back shortly!

Beautiful pet friendly retreat
The property is private and peaceful. Beautiful big windows allowing you to take in the views. Secure areas close to the property for the dogs to wonder. Plenty of space around the property for the dogs to explore. Lots of wildlife to see. The pool is Beautiful, the dogs enjoyed the swim.

Lovely peaceful getaway.
Stayed for my partners birthday with our two dogs. Property is cosy with beautiful surroundings. Sunsets and sunrise visible. We loved having the stove going while cuddling up in the couch. Bed really comfy and shower was lovely too. Really nice to have somewhere not to far to drive from the city.

Perfect Staycation
We absolutely loved every second of our stay at Mount Olive Studio. The studio was the cutest and cosiest base camp for our exploration around the surrounding bush land, tracks and pubs. The fact that it is dog friendly make it all the more better. Junko was fantastic to deal with and we are so grateful for her and her partner sharing their beautiful space. Can’t wait to be back!!

Bliss in the Hills
Was the perfect getaway with our 2 doggos! Relaxing in the beautiful surrounds, going for walks on the property, playing tennis and shooting some hoops, having a dip in the pool and finishing it off with outdoor massage under the trees. Pure bliss!

Amazing
Absolutely stunning property. We stayed with our 2 dogs and one being reactive to other dogs we were able to feel at ease without having to worry about running into other pets and she could be free to explore. The studio itself is also a very cosy place to stay!! Will definitely be back.

Amazing!!
What a special place to spend some quality time with my family. The cottage is gorgeous and has everything u could possibly need for a comfortable, enjoyable stay. My furbaby had the best time roaming free, sniffing all the new smells. Listening to the beautiful birds and water flowing in the creek was incredible. Junko and Frank ensured our stay was the best it could be. We can’t wait to return for another stay soon.

A Wonderful Stay
We spent two nights at Mountolive Studio. The studio is nice and cozy with everything needed for a relaxing peaceful stay. We took our four month old Chocolate Labrador puppy who really enjoyed the enclosed paddock to run around in. She also enjoyed swimming in the pool. On both evening we got to see "Bob" the Brush tailed Possum, infact we saw 3 different possums. Overall, it was a wonderful two day stay.

Rescue Hound Paradise
Finding a secure, quiet and pleasantly distracting home away from home was such a happy find. I have a large breed rescue that doesn't have the greatest recall so having the large enclosed area attached to the studio was a godsend. Only unfortunate experience was my hounds unhappiness with the resident possums family (she thought they were cats) but I loved watching them watching me 😂. The pool area is also amazing and my family had a great time jumping off the rocks. Already planning our next stay for the winter months!

A peaceful place to stay with man’s best friend.
What a lovely break at a lovely little place with my best friend :) Millie and I enjoyed our stay immensely. The studio was beautiful and surrounded by beautiful bush land and gardens. Having the secure areas for dogs was just really great and I felt safe letting Millie run around. Nothing was too much trouble for Junko and I appreciate all the hard work that goes into running a unique accommodation experience. Would love to have the chance to stay again. Thank you :)

Peace and Serenity
Booked Mountolive Studio for a Birthday staycation! Had an absolutely amazing time. Was so peaceful and refreshing being in nature. Doggy was so excited running around, he even was fetching the tennis balls while the family was playing. Waking up and looking out the huge glass windows to a cup of coffee was the most therapeutic feeling. Will 100% recommend. Thank you Janko, thoroughly enjoyed our stay :)

Mount Olive Studio is a place you can stay and relax, a very peaceful and quiet place. My husband and myself enjoyed our staycation here especially our 2 doggo, they love and enjoy roaming around and playing outside the backyarrd.
The place is not too far from where we live,only The place is 25 mins drive from our house. We check in late becsuse of work. Frank and Junko was very helpful. The studio was stunning with huge window so you can see the tees outside. I love the fireplace to keep me warm, clean and cozy room to relax and unwind. Definitely will comeback again. We enjoyed our stay here

Dog friendly getaway in the Perth Hills
It is rare to find such a gem. Mountolive Studio is a welcoming, comfortable, completely dog friendly accommodation (most places have a list of restrictions even if they say they are dog friendly - dogs can go here, can't do this/that etc.) that is also a beautiful, well-appointed place for people. It was so relaxing to be surrounded by, and be able to see, bush and trees from everywhere within the studio but to also be within easy access to coffee shops, wineries etc. Thank you for sharing your property, and love of dogs, with us.

A fantastic tree change getaway for busy city slickers
Who says you need to plan a family holiday mths/yrs in advance? This is a wonderful tree change getaway for busy Perth locals…drop everything, pack an overnight bag, runners on, pick up your doggie 🐶 and let’s GO! We had the best time recently at the studio. The mixture of relaxation, bush walks and bird calls met with modern comforts of Netflix access, tennis court/pool & supplied essentials allowed us to enjoy our stay fuss free and truly savour this space! Thoroughly recommend this place for a short term “unplug from the daily grind”…it’s just what the (tree) doctor ordered!

Beautiful property, perfect relaxing retreat with your dog 🐾
We loved our stay at this property. Very comfortable and cosy with the fire in the evenings. The walks were beautiful along the creek and the wild flowers were beautiful. Our highlight is how dog friendly this property is. This is especially important for us as our rescue dog is anxious and reactive so doesn’t get to experience the freedom to run and explore.
