Stayed at the Red Sink for the 4th of July holiday to do some scalloping. Friends rented the house across the street so we had unfettered access to the water and all the scallops we could find. The house was set up perfectly for both families, with my kids in room 2, my wife and I upstairs, and my brother and his family in room 1. The house was clean and free of any strange smells or funkiness. The beds were comfortable and the AC was lovely. The downstairs rooms were very cabin like, with a hint of ceder. The middle space downstairs was nice, with a washer and dryer for all the wet bathing suits and towels. There were tv's in all the rooms, besides the upstairs bedroom, which didn't need one as the tv in the living room was more than sufficient. The kitchen was well appointed with all the pots, pans, and dishes one could need for their stay. There is no oven, but the toaster oven was more than adequate for our bagel needs. The decks were nice to relax on and the kids even caught some fish from the back dock. The views over the water were amazing and I would encourage everyone who stays here to watch the sun come up and go down over the amazing wetlands. I am no photographer, but even I was able to take some amazing pictures from the back deck. After our trip was over, my nephew managed to lose his favorite stuffed toy and the house cleaner contacted me immediately to get an address to send it back to him. Overall, I wish I could give this place 10 stars, but 5 is all I get.
