"Lovely house in good condition with easy walk to Azay le Rideau. Very similar feedback to other reviews - noticed little things like some broken crockery and freezer door but this was no problem with spares and expected when renting a big house in summer. We were 3 families (4 children) - the kids all slept in the bunk bed room and one couple slept in the slightly separate building but this was fine. "We had an amazing visit to the heart of the Loire Valley. This is a beautifully renovated old building in the quaint old village of Larcay. A 2 minute walk to the river or an amazing little restaurant called Les Planchettes. Easy access to Tours and the many castles and vineyards in the area. It feels like travelling back in time but with all of the modern amenities. Thanks to Sylvain and Adele for everything, including the welcome bottle of delicious Vouvray! Highly recommended."

"This worked well for our large family group (9 adults, three teens, and our 3-year-old grandson). There is lots of room. We only had one night as we were between visiting Villandry and Chenonceau. This was a side trip for us as we were on our way to Bastogne, Belgium. Despite being there for a short time, Eloise was very accommodating and excellent in her communications with us. We are thankful for the opportunity to stay here!"

"Had a lovely time staying with Marie. She was super helpful and welcoming with lots of good advice from places to visit to cooking a meal for us one evening and introducing us to some local wines. Great place to explore the Loire and Touraine region. Car a must but easy access to Ambois, Tours, Chinon etc. superb bakery in Savonniere 5 mins away by car."

The house isn’t right in the city center but we were able to walk or ride bikes into town very conveniently.
