"Very helpfull and kind reception staff (Friday)"

"We wanted a cost-effective place to stay the night as our ferry arrived late in Liepaja. We found parking right behind the hotel, front desk was manned by an English-speaking young lady, so check-in was fuss-free. The family room was very large, generally clean, but well-worn (furniture had chips off the edges, some scratches on wall, etc). Walls were thin - we could hear people moving in the corridors for their early check-outs. Also the elevator broke down when we wanted to check-out, so we had to carry the luggage down by ourselves."

"Host is not responding to messages nor phone calls. We had no address, no keys, we had urgently look for other solution. We paid for nothing! I want to report this host to VRBO and other users. I want a refund as we had no service at all! "

"Loved in general. Receptionists ate great, but some additional training wouls be beneficial. Hotel was quiet, the receptionist with russian accent was unpolite. I asked to be checked-in one hour earlier, she gave me a look and she gave me short answer: no! The same answer could have been with smile, I would understand it better. And I know other hotels are much better with receptionists. Either way, restaurant was excellent. Room was clean and nice. Shiwer a bit small, but everything was good. I'll probably will stay next time, and will try to be prepared for unfriendly receptionist."
