"Communication before arrival was excellent. Marta made a video showing how to find the property and to park. We had our own spot that for our car, sheltered by Olive Trees. Marta met us and showed us around the property. It is small, neat, and very clean. We appreciated the little family touches which show the properties history. The kitchen was adequate with a good range of plates and utensils. My wife likes to cook and was happy to be able to do so. We had our own terrace, open to the sun....

"This is a fantastic refurbished apartment in the medieval centre of Dolceacqua - as previous reviews there are very many uneven steps both up to the apartment and also once you are inside so not really suitable for those with restricted mobility but the climb is definitely worth it - the views are simply amazing. "Die alte Mühle ist ein großartiges und geräumiges Anwesen in sehr gutem Zustand. Man ist persönlich zu Gast bei der Eigentümerin. Vor Ort hilft eine Bekannt der Eigentümerin beim CheckIn aber auch bei Fragen. Wir waren 6 Gäste und haben alle 4 Schlafzimmer belegt. Die Kommunikation mit der Eigentümerin im Vorfeld der Reise war sehr nett, hilfreich und persönlich. CheckIn bei Anreise lief perfekt. Küche und Wohnzimmer sind sehr geräumig und top eingerichtet. "Das Haus liegt idyllisch in Nähe von Testico in einer kleinen Siedlung. Durch die großen Fenster die im Esszimmer verbaut sind hat man eine herrliche Sicht auf die umliegenden Berge. Das Haus ist mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. "Property is a little slice of historic charm, with wood beam ceilings and thick walls. Beautiful terrace, amazing view of the ocean, and comfortable bed. Note: it is on a very narrow road and sometimes you encounter a vehicle going down while you are going up. On occasion you will have to back-up to allow a vehicle to pass. If you are confident backing down narrow roads, then this is the place for you!"

"We never got to see the property. I finally managed to get hold of the host on day before check in and she asked to meet us in Monaco to hand over the keys (Strange). When we met she said the house had a water leak & offered us a tiny Studio flat the size of a small kitchen for 4 men until it was fixed! The host handed the key for the studio over to one of the men, and because he took it we were deemed to have accepted a tiny studio for one person in lieu of a 5 bedroom house. I contacted Vrbo...

"We were only able to check in into a lower category apartman, than we were confirmed and what we paid for."

"We enjoyed our stay at Ventimiglia. The location was perfect for our needs and we enjoyed the little beach that we had easy access to. Our only complaint would be that it was not stocked well and we had to run out and buy toilet paper because there was a small partial roll there."
