Surrounded by open fields, this single-storey barn has far reaching views of the Atlantic Ocean towards Sennen Cove and Land’s End. The enclosed lawned garden leads to guests’ own ½-acre meadow (great for picnics and kite flying). Chapel Carn Brea (the NT first and last hill in England) forms a backdrop to Robin’s Nest, and a 20-minute walk along the public footpath in front of Kerrow Farmhouse leads to the summit, from which there are 360-degree panoramic views, from the Brisons (off Cape Cornwall) past Land’s End and the Longships Lighthouse, and round to Mounts Bay. Being in a peaceful, rural location, away from the main road, Robin’s Nest is ideal for children who can play while Mum and Dad prepare a meal, or take a well earned rest. Sennen Cove and the spectacular sandy surfing beaches of Whitesand Bay and Gwynver are just 2 miles away, while the famous Minack open air theatre and the fishing village of Mousehole are a short drive. St Just 2½ miles and Penzance 7 miles (good for shopping). Shops 2 miles.

We love Robins nest , we have been there main times , But we found lots of spiders webs on light fittings , shades etc , plus very dusty , dusty skirtings , also found Dogs crew in sofa , dogs hairs easy to see on carpet . We clean them up fine . Bedding Great , nice new Kitchen . We have booked for 2021 . Robins nest needs a better all round clean . We love the place still . A lovely cottage in an ideal location for getting to all the places we wanted to visit in this part of Cornwall. My only reservation is that the unmade road to the cottage was rather bumpy and my car bottomed out on a couple of occasions, that said it was the end of season I going on rest of the cottage I have no doubt that this will be remedied. Lovely cosy cottage.
Lovely cosy cottage. Well equipped, well presented and convenient for the places we wanted to visit. Could have done with a large family sized pan like a wok. Tried cooking pasta for the family and it kept falling out of the frying pan. Children and dogs were very happy. Lots of room to run about outside. Lovely country views and walks. Had a brilliant time! Loved the little extras that were provided and loved bits left in the house like DVD's, books etc. Location is superb! Very quiet. We did get a note from a neighbour after arriving telling us to be quiet though...we had 3 very lively children who were super excited and so we weren't able to contain the volume on our first day. We tried our best to be quiet for the rest of the stay however. 2 horses who came to say hello at our garden fence were adored by the children. Dishwasher and washing machine were so handy! We were very well catered for and are definitely thinking of returning!
