This elegant and whimsically furnished condo brings the colors of the Gulf inside, showcasing an outstanding view of the water right from the living area. Leave your worries at home and relax in this conveniently located and well-appointed property. Located on the seventh floor, this condo offers an expansive view of the sugar-white sands and rolling waves of the Gulf from its private balcony. Its well-equipped kitchen and cheerful dining space offer a place to start and end your day with fresh seafood, local delicacies, and treats from nearby eateries.

This two-bedroom, two-bath condo is furnished with a sofa bed, to accommodate everyone in your group. Each room is equipped with a TV, and the living areas include cool, tiled floors. The main bath includes a jetted tub.

Make sure to take time to enjoy the many shared on-site amenities that include a hot tub, an outdoor pool, and an exercise room, as well as a boardwalk for easy access to the beach, which is just yards away.

The Gulf Islands National Seashore is nearby, as is the Lost Key Golf Club, an Audubon Signature Cooperative Sanctuary golf course.

The unit itself was fine. Clean & had everything we needed. However we had the smell of pot & cigarettes everyday on the balcony. The neighbors TV must be on the same wall as the master bc every morning at 6am I was awoken to the news. I could tell you every news report plus the weather report. Walls were paper thin. We have stayed at this complex before & didn’t have this much noise from neighbors. Other than that it was a great time.

The view was great, the room was great, the amenities were great it even had a K-cup machine that was not advertised. BUT the tv reception was horrible in the living room. It pixelated the entire week we were there. We called twice about it; a rep did come over after the second call to look at the television but did nothing. She said she would keep us informed of any changes but did not. I called again when we returned home and four days later still no answer from the management about any compensation for having no decent tv to watch. You can't be out on the beach all evening. So, if you want to watch any television at all during your stay - rent another room. If we can get to an agreement on compensation for the television, I will update my review.

That View said it all
The view in the listing is far better in person. Condo was clean and had everything needed to relax and recover. Original listing was misleading in that it said beach service was included however upon arriving found out that it was no longer included in the cost. Will definately be back.

GREAT location!
Excellent location, as it was close to everything and the balcony overlooked the ocean. The views were simply amazing! The pool was great, too. Underground parking was a plus to keep our car cool. Condo could use some updates, such as a new mattress in master (creaky), new toaster, coffee maker, and mixing bowls in kitchen. The living room furniture also needs a thorough cleaning. The walkway was difficult to navigate with a beach cart, as there were too many stairs. All-in-all, though, we had a wonderful time and will definitely return!

Great location-beautiful & clean condo
My stay was fantastic. The condo was clean, spacious, and decorated with good taste and beautiful beach colors. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen came equipped with everything needed for food prep and the comforts of home. I especially loved the large balcony overlooking the pool and gulf. The only problem I had with Windemere Condo was it’s lack of accessibility going from the building to the Gulf There were quite a few stairs leading up and then down onto the beach. Elderly and disabled individuals who are unable to climb stairs need a ramp.

The house was okay and clean. It needs some updates. Don’t book with Vacasa. Their customer service is 0/10. Book with the actual home owner. I Told them the door handle to the front door was literally hanging and I was told it will still lock. The pool heater had been broken for weeks and I wasn’t aware. We booked there due to the pool knowing the weather was hit and miss. They won’t let you check in one minute before 4 like the actual home owner would. Book with individuals not a company. I wasn’t aware of the agency until it was too late. Their customer service is terrible.

We were supposed to have one assigned parking spot indicated on our parking pass. Another car had it on theirs as well. Texted numerous times with computer generated answers. Called the customer service line 3 times and no one ever picked up. Never cod get to a real person. I will not ever be using Vacasa again.

The home, the view and the area were great but the LR TV had NO SOUND all week and the bath sink would not drain. No response from Vacasa after repeated requests to fix. These two unrepaired problems put a real downer on our family vacation. Vacasa never responded to our requests for help. FRUSTRATING!

Disappointed.
The unit is very dated and could use some updates. The T.V. in the living room had no sound. The T.V. in the first bedroom only had one channel. The internet didn't work, the password and username had changed from what we were given. Upon arrival the door code we were given didn't work. The kitchen needs updated stove and pots and pans. However, the view is spectacular! The amenities would be nice, but the pool was closed 2 days and the hot tub was broken.

Not bad but not the best
Be forewarned: the water pressure is terrible. Literal trickle from the shower if more than one thing was running. The toilet, faucets, or any other water couldn’t run if someone needed to take a shower. There are two showers, a dishwasher, and the clothes washer. You can only use one at a time or you have zero water pressure. You also couldn’t run the faucet or flush a toilet without it affecting the shower water pressure. It would go to just a trickle! So with 4 people in the condo, that was a pain. We had to plan extra time for showers and schedule laundry around that. The living room furniture was kind of gross… needs a good cleaning or just new furniture. Smelled weird and had crusty spots on some of the areas.
