The 2-bed, 1-bath property can accommodate 4 guests and 1 dog (with approval and a fee)! Enjoy comfortable amenities like a private hot tub and covered patio overlooking a small pond nestled on 26 acres of land full of oak and maple trees. Ideally located between Brevard and Hendersonville, you'll have access to attractions, hiking trails, and stunning nature sites!

This location is perfect for families wanting to experience DuPont State Forest or Pisgah Forest along with Brevard but wanting a quiet, secluded place to back to after. Property was clean and well appointed!

Perfect getaway is correct!
Perfect spot for a few days away after Christmas. Clean, spacious, and well appointed cabin! Close to great hiking and all the area has to offer. Easy check in, great communication with the owner, and no problems getting there. Already planning a trip back in the summer so we can enjoy a different season worth of fun!

Beautiful spot
I spent a week there with my daughters. The cabin was beautiful, everything was as promised, and the location was a short ride from our favorite hikes, natural water slides and camping/fishing spots. I definitely recommend.

A really lovely, peaceful place. Well-stocked. Super gracious owner/hosts. The outdoor setting is great - places to relax, enjoy the pond, feed the fish, soak in the hot tub, hike, and more. Just the best. We will return for sure.

Perfect Weekend Getaway
This property is adorable! The house is beautifully updated and well stocked with everything we needed for a great family weekend. It sits on beautiful land with a perfect spot for an evening fire and s’mores. We hiked in nearby DuPont National Forest so the location was perfect too! We would definitely stay here again!

Amazing Property!
I can't say enough about our stay here! Absolutely gorgeous home, had everything we needed, super clean and located within 25 minutes of all the trails we wanted to hike. Our first day we hiked Triple Falls and had lunch at Square Root (pet friendly too). Day 2 was Looking Glass Trailhead, grilled steaks and s'mores by the outdoor fireplace. The hot tub was perfect for sore muscles at the end of the day. We will definitely be back!

We had an awsome stay at Robert and Stephanie's home. It was exactly what we were hoping for. We loved the seclusion but didn't feel like we were too remote. It was the oerfect balance. We will definitely be back!

Great relaxing Trip
We were looking for a nice quite place to stay while our kids were attending a summer camp near by. we visited lots of breweries and wineries. Also took lots of hikes in the Dupont State Forest and Pisgah National Park. Cabin had everything you needed and was neat and clean. we loved building fires in the evenings

What a fantastic place, beyond the beauty of the pictures, so many thoughtful details, very well maintained, the outdoor area is great for relaxing, lots of ways to enjoy nature on the property alone, have been coming to the area for years, would definitely stay here again, excellent and thoughtful communication with the owners

Excellent Stay!!
I want to thank Scott (owner) for his wonderful hospitality. The stay at this cabin was best time we've had in the NC mountains. The cabin itself was very clean and the property was kept up very well. My family had a great time. The location is awesome!! With only a 15 minute drive, you can be at some very family friendly outdoor activities. I would stay again and would recommend to family and friends.

Perfect family getaway
The property was exceptionally clean and everything was as stated online. My family had a wonderful time on the trails, at the fire pit (every single night!), feeding and watching the fish in the pond, relaxing in the hot tub, and exploring the little creeks on the trails. We never even left the property!

We had a wonderful time at Peaceful Getaway! The cabin and property are so beautiful and truly special. There is so much to do right on property! We enjoyed hiking the trails, feeding the fish, roasting marshmallows at night, and our kids absolutely loved the rope swing! The cabin was very clean, well organized, and had everything we needed. Robert and Stefanie were delightful to work with and very helpful. We made wonderful memories at Peaceful Getaway and can’t wait to return!

Truly a peaceful getaway!
This cabin lives up to its name. The location is 15-20 minutes driving distance to town. It is tucked away in the trees gently on the mountain. The owners are close and responsive. Any needs are met within less than 1 hour. You have a large covered well lit fire pit pavilion. A gas stove fireplace in the living room. The cabin is well maintained and has modern appliances. A spacious modern bathroom. An easy to access and use hot tub. A great place to disconnect and rejuvenate. I have recommended to friends and family.

Fantastic place!
I can't say enough good things about this place! The house is beautiful, comfortable, and had everything we could've wished for. We especially enjoyed the fireplace down in the pavilion, and the fact that they had available everything needed for an easy fire. That was such a nice surprise! We also really appreciated how welcome we felt that our dog was. It was so nice to have a vacation without feeling that we were putting anybody out by having her along with us. All of us just really enjoyed our stay and only wished we could've stayed longer. We all agree that we want to come back again!

Peaceful Getaway!
Just as the cabin is named, it truly is a PEACEFUL GETAWAY! If you are looking for a private, well-appointed property that is like a resort in itself all to yourself, look no further! The cabin is immaculate and very beautiful. The communication was superb and the owners went above and beyond with special touches to make sure our stay was even more enjoyable than expected. Due to our limited time away, we were not able to enjoy all that the property and area had to offer and with that, my husband and I look forward to the possibility of returning for another fantastic and peaceful getaway. Exceeded Expectations
We had a wonderful experience staying at the cabin in the woods. The proximity to the Pisgah and Dupont National parks was great. The cabin was beautiful, peaceful and private. After hiking all day we came home sat in the hot tub, enjoyed time at the fireplace and played board games. The owner touched base with us on arrival and was available should any needs arise. The home was just lovely and well equipped should one want to do any cooking(I did not). We had never utilized VRBO and we were truly pleased. Thanks for a great relaxing vacation Scott.

And a Peaceful Getaway It Is!
Whether you need quiet, private, down time or outdoor back to nature activities... this cabin, and the local area, have it all! Relax by the outdoor fireplace by the sound of the water fountain in the spring feed pond. Or kick back in the hot tub to wash away any muscle aches from hiking, biking, kayaking, etc. The cabin has all the amenities in the kitchen to cook great meals inside, or grill outside. Spend your evenings playing any one of dozens of board games provided or stream your favorite movies on the big flat screen. Don't forget all the details given to your doggies! Comfy fluffy beds, blankets, toys, and treats. The hosts give you everything to pamper your pooches.

We love Peaceful Cabin getaway. The cabin is fabulous. The cabin has every comfort you need. Hottub is meticulously clean. Nicely stocked kitchen with quality appliances. Clean and quality. We love the tranquility of the mountain setting. Every morning we took off leash walks with our golden - it’s his paradise. Wooded trails, streams, small waterfall, etc. Just a few miles down the road are hiking trails with many different large waterfalls (hooker falls, triple falls, veil falls and more) Biltmore is 30 minutes away. And it’s in the heart of craft brewery country. We visited Sierra Nevada, Bold Rock, Sideways, Oskar Blues. Such a great place to stay and visit.

Second Stay a Relaxing Success
This is our second time staying at Peaceful Getaway and just like the first time, we had an excellent stay. Having stayed as a couple prior to having kids in 2020 and now as a family of four, my husband and I were just as happy with the quality of the accommodations for our two children (6 mo and 2 yo). The hosts were very accommodating and delivered fresh eggs, kept our fish food stocked for our wild toddler who loved feeding the fish and helped us again with suggestions for attractions in the area. In, our opinion, the property is very special because of all the outdoor areas and privacy for the same and we had a great time hiking/walking the trails onsite when we werent hiking off property. Hot tub was great post hikes. Porch swing and hammocks used daily. Beautiful property that after staying many other areas in NC/greater Asheville really can't be beat for unqiueness. Inside of property comfortable clean and still high quality since last stay. Obviously the only answer to "should I book this?" is YES!
