This was just like the description no flushing toilet. But the sites were nice and big. It's very close to DuPont park so a great place to useas a base camp for hiking and biking in the park

Nice family camping trip close to DuPont state park and Holmes educational forest. We appreciated the campsites being more spread out due to covid, but if they were all full it may have seemed a little crowded. Scott was quick to respond and communication was easy, although cell service can be spotty. Beautiful scenery next to a creek and a farm. We would stay here again!

Nice campground
Nice management. Showers, good firewood, great location for Mt. Bikers at Dupont. Grounds could be trimmed up a little better. Poison Ivy is around the area, you hear dogs, rosters and cows in the early AM which can be pleasant to many and not so to others. Road noise. If your over 6' watch your head walking into the shower room.
This gem is perfectly located within 3 to 4 miles of all Dupont has to offer. My son and I enjoyed camping here and the host is fantastic. There are restaurants and all the modern conveniences within a short drive to Etowah. I would stay here again. We had a campfire every night.
My wife and I wanted to camp in the area while we were meeting family. The property was private, and we felt very safe. There were other campers there in some of the other sites, but we never felt intruded upon or as if we were in their way. Port-o-johns were surprisingly clean!
My boys and I loved camping here. Doug was so kind even when we arrived late and left early. The creek was the highlight for my boys. Just a warning to remember to bring some earplugs, the chorus of cows, roosters and dogs in the morning can be quite loud and hard to sleep through :)
Very simple tent site. The area was clean and great for a nights stay. My two year old enjoyed playing with the owner's grandchildren.

Pleased with the campground
Camp ground was clean, and the sites had good distance between each other. There was a hot shower at the rental house and porta-Jon’s on each end of the property. We were pleased with our stay.

Great camping!
The site was clean and well maintained with nice flat areas for tents. Each site appeared to have its own fire ring and picnic table, which is always a nice touch. I picked this place because it is so close to Dupont State Forest, and I couldn't have been happier with my choice. Do note there is spotty mobile reception in the area, so be aware that if you need to call to check in you may wish to do so about 20 minutes out.
