"Our entire stay was fantastic, the home owner Suze was amazing in helping with our arrangements for our small wedding - private chef Adrian was superb, housekeepers were amazing at helping us understand how the house worked and also took in our shopping! We even managed a couple of dips in the very fresh sea to start the day! A magical break enjoyed by all.. We have recommended to several friends and family and will hopefully stay again soon. "

"Lovely location, next to a small farm. Great views from the balcony, stars at night were spectacular. Nice waking up to the rooster and cows. Our large dog loved the securely enclosed paddock with a lake in the middle. Extremely cosy and warm cottage."

"What a fabulous property in a gorgeous area. There’s not much around but the beach and walks are plentiful, there’s a great pub and nearby Looe is lovely.The house itself was fabulous. Hot tub was clean and hot and such a treat. All the beds and facilities were top notch! "

"Accomodation was fantastic and welcome to the site was brilliant. Only issue we encountered was the external sewage pipes as they ran along side the cabin. From day 1 it appeared to be a problem with some sort of blokage and contractor out every morning trying to sort it out. The foul stench left behind after contractor finished was quite overwhelming, especially coming back into the main bedroom ensuite toilet. Thankfully we were out and about everyday with friends, so only had to contend with...

"Well if any place can surpasses your expectations, this was it. We are a well travelled family and I can truly say that the photos do not do it enough justice. The property is tastefully decorated and has everything you would need for a holiday. I would add that the dining table is so much nicer than the one in the photo. "The cottage is superbly located to the village. We went on an organised Doc Martin tour which was good fun and very informative. The house was spacious but unfortunately the sheets on both double beds were stained, which was not great as after a long journey, we were very tired and had to sleep on top of the beds for the first night until next day. "We had a wonderful 60th party with friends and family. The house was perfect for 3 nights and accommodated 26 of us really well. "The property was spacious and clean with amazing views over the river however there were slight difficulties with the parking it is in a lay by round a bend on a busy Rd going past the property although the host advises parking outside to drop luggage off but this was not easy to do. The layby could do with a mirror opposite to see ongoing traffic as you drive in and out. The host was very helpful with any extra questions we had and we would stay here again. out"
