"Booked this hotel out of necessity because we wanted to do the bioluminescence tour in Castine (also highly recommend) and the Bucksport Inn just happened to be conveniently located. So glad we did! First, the service was exceptional. They called us the morning of our reservation to inform us that the TV in our room was broken, but to offer a different type of room (2 queens vs a king). We declined because we didnt care about the TV. Not only was I impressed with their kind communication, but...

"It is a great place to stay. We love retro spaces and this is great! Lots of space, nice amenities and great views. Also a great outdoor area with a fire! Apparently they have a clientele that returns year after year because they all knew each other. We would go back any time. "

Eden Village Motel & Cottages
2.5 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (189)
"It is a good stay option in the high price area. It even got cookpot in the room. Only complaint, I got it was the register a room process. It required several rounds of email to confirm the registration and several email emails/text for checking, etc. There is such thing of too many steps/or information. If it can be simply, it will be nice."

Lincolnville Motel
Acadia Sunrise Motel
2.0 star property
8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (348)
"This place was terrible. The lady who checked us in insisted on taking a picture of every single adult’s license. We found this odd. No one has ever made us do this. There were multiple rules. Over 30! We had to sign agreeing. Our shower was missing a shower head. The room smelt terrible. The facility is run down. They do not even have a credit card machine. Do not stay here."
