We have stayed in the area a few times as we have friends in the area but finding this property has been a very pleasant discovery. "The location is excellent and the surrounding countryside is beauriful. We used the eurotunnel so its quite q srive to tye property but worth it. The amenities were as described qnd we used all of them all of the time. Once you gettoknow the area it is quite easy to pick up provisions. I would use again as it comfortably accommodates a group of 8 plus 2 dogs."

"A lovely little cottage in such a peaceful location - perfect for time to get away from everything . The swimming pool was a real bonus and Ann Elise was the perfect host . We were able to enjoy time to ourselves as well as being able to explore the area . The cottage had everything we needed , and more , very comfortable and a real home from home . Huge thanks to Ann Elise for being the perfect host , Alain for his perfect directions and Juno for her visits !"

"A charming selection of several stone-built gites that are set in a peaceful location yet only a 5 minute drive from a couple of villages and the magnificent Chateau de Biron. Our hosts Tony and Lisa were superb and our gite offered everything we needed. The gites, grounds and gardens were very well maintained as was the fabulous swimming pool. "The property really did live up to the expectations of the photographs. A really lovely set up, and the owners Jo and Paul were wonderful and very helpful with local advise and recommendations. We particluarly loved the hot tub especially as it is covered so when it was raining it didnt matter! The pool was the only one i have ever been to that was properly heated to a perfect temperature. We highly recommend a stay here. "

"Fantastic adult get away. Peace and quiet in delightful surroundings. Pool was as fabulous as the pictures looked and very well maintained. Property pictures didn’t really do it justice. Fantastic adaptation to an old building. light, airy and cool. Stunningly situated in the French countryside with loads of places to visit. Highly recommended. "The accommodation is all on 1 level. 2 large double beds with 1 large modern interconnecting bathroom with large walk in shower. There is another bathroom with old roll top bath and a seperate shower. A large bedroom with 2 single beds and a sink. "Belle maison très bien équipée et confortable malgré une déco un peu vieillotte. Cadre magnifique, endroit idéal pour se détendre et profiter de la nature environnante. La piscine très propre permet de se rafraichir en admirant le paysage tout autour. Idéal pour se ressourcer. Petits commerces de qualité à quelques kilomètres et de nombreuses ballades possibles. Self-check in, no humans

"I stayed here because there was a pool. When I arrived about 8 or 9pm there was a self-check-in at the gate. I was not sent a code, but a friend who spoke French called and got it for me. It was not sent through Hotels.com or by email. Without calling I would have not been able to stay here at all and would have been far from Agen with no room. It is VERY FAR from Agen, not in Agen as listed on the hotels.com site. The pool was covered for the night and opened at 8am the next morning. Check-out was at 10. There is no ice machine, no refrigerator, no hotel staff. I got up at 8 to use the pool for an hour. When I checked out the hotel front desk person called a cab for me. It was about 30 euro to get back to Agen. This is the only person I spoke to during my entire stay and she was lovely and helpful and understanding of my baby French as I counted on my fingers to tell her my room number. If you aren't prepared for this odd system, you will not be able to check-in if you arrive late. There is an elevator. There is no communication with guests. Pool is very small and was being cleaned during the one hour I was able to use it during my stay. I swam anyway, but the vacuum was underfoot and would not have been safe for children to swim."

"The place we stayed in was absolutely spot-on. Everything that it said on the VERBO web site was correct. Everything in the gite function correctly.The place was comfortable and clean and the location was perfect, Quiet in the French country side in amongst orchards and vineyards. We will we will go back to the same location again"
