"A comfortable room, in a nice old building, in a great location."

"Staff were fantastic. Hotel building and location were amazing. Great views across to the straights and mountains. Breakfast was really good, dinner was ok. Main issue was that we were not in the main building but a separate one (lodge). Walls there are paper thin unfortunately and could hear everything in room next door. Boiler from room nextdoor was also super loud. Not great for 200 a night! I'm sure the rooms in the main building are much better so would be good to come back and stay in them...

"I stayed in the single room which was the same size as a double room. It was comfortable, cosy , clean , nicely decorated and well furnished.There's parking out front but that was taken but I easily parked outside.breakfast was cooked to order and very tasty. Small gripes,the room was warm but bathroom wasn't and the TV wasn't HD."

"The property was not only located in the most convenient location imaginable (I was working in the castle, which is literally just across the road!), but the hotel is very nice in itself. The room I was in was small, but not in a bad way. I had space for everything I needed, the phone signal and WiFi were strong, the bed was comfortable, there were even complimentary biscuits! "A last min booking for new years eve! I booked a family room for myself , Hubby and 7 year old son. The day arrived and the weather forecast was awful and nearly stopped our visit however after prompt, helpful communication from Regan we decided to try and brave the travel.
