"Nice place"

"We love this magical cabin. It is decorated in mushrooms and woodland whimsy inside and out. It was well-equipped for a comfortable stay. We didn't bring our dog on this trip, but the house is also geared towards a comfortable stay for your dog, so next time, I plan to bring ours. I will definitely be back."

"This property is great for peace and quiet. The damage in the area from hurricane Helene has shut down a lot of trails, waterfalls, and parks. However, it is still very beautiful and we will continue to travel to the area and hopefully stay at this retreat again. Right now it's smart to bring your own food, there aren't very many places to go out to eat unless you prefer fast food. The main highway also has a beautiful gift shop. Spend your money locally, they need your help! I loved it there, we only saw a few people the whole time(our neighbor and the employee/owner)we were there but they were full of smiles and very nice! I recommend 💯. Thank you for your hospitality, we will be back!"

"Owner was very cooperative with my schedule. I arrived after hours and left before office opened. Beds were very comfortable. Area was quiet. We could walk to fast food."

"We loved it here! The place was great for a family of 5. The air mattress came in handy. You’re only about a 5 minute drive from the slopes and 8-10 minute drive from downtown banner elk! I highly recommend bellas italian restaurant, tubing and Highland Ski rentals! Micheal was easy to work with and answered all of our questions promptly. "

"My family and I travelled to Sugartop recently can not speak more highly of our experience there. The property was incredibly family friendly, the staff was courteous and knowledgeable. Our kids absolutely loved the indoor pool area. The proximity to Sugar Mountain was ideal. Our host (Denise) was amazing as well. She has fantastic communication, and checked on us every step of the way. Her condo was extremely spacious and clean. Not to mention that it had everything that we could have possibly needed. Our 5 and 4 year olds loved the bunkbeds and being able to watch the skiers from the balcony. They also provided us with a couple of sleds that we took full advantage of. Overall, it was an amazing experience and we can't wait to be back! "
