The villa could do with a bit of an upgrade in areas and also some general repairs made e.g bin was broken and sunbeds were broken / missing arms, cracks, ripped sunbed covers. When we arrived we only had 8 sunbeds and we let the agency know. They very quickly provided 2 more which we were grateful for since there was 10 of us. We fought very hard to get them to understand the air conditioning was not working on the main floor. Out of the four nights there, we only had AC for one night."

The rooms on the lower level were a bit cramped and smelled damp. There should be dehumidifiers running. "Thirteen friends on a early summer holiday to Portugal, what an experience. The villa is situated in the heart of Budens, easily accessible from Faro airport (<1 hour drive). There are many lovely beaches on the south and west coast, and Lagos or Sagres are no more than 20onutes drive away. We had some great hikes, runs, beach days, pool days and BBQs and would recommend the villa to anyone. The hosts were fantastic, timely in replying and had some great food recommendations.
