"The Argosy was excellent value for money. It was clean, comfortable & very convenient to catch the Spirit of Tasmania ferry, early the next morning. The hotel / bistro were next door so very handy if you don't want to drive anywhere."

"We loved our return visit to the Madsen at Penguin. We were ab le to stay in a room overlooking the beach and with opening window we could listen to the waves as we went to sleep. The Queen sized bed was very comfortable. The room and bathroom were very clean. Microwave and tea making with plunger coffee available. Very close to shops, cafes and the Penguin Brewing Co. We love staying here"

"The property was difficult to find but once it was, it was good. The main front door had no lock. It had clearly been kicked in prior to me checking in as it was split through the door mechanism. However, the screen door did lock. There was still a feeling of insecurity though. Otherwise, the bedroom, kitchen and lounge were all clean. I enjoyed my stay. Thank you"
