Friendly owners on hand for any issues or queries. Easily sleeps 8 (2 double and 2 twin room) and has two lovely hot showers. Plenty space for families!"

Property was clean and had everything we needed for our stay, including kitchen utensils and some disposables which aren't always provided so that was a bonus. Lovely welcome basket of local produce provided on arrival. Property owner was easily reachable and quick to respond when needed."

"We loved our time staying at Midsummer Barn. The pictures online do not do it justice. It has character and charm. It is spacious and comfortable and well equipped for everything a family needs for time away. There were fresh eggs and cider to welcome us which was a lovely touch. "Super cute house in a quaint, hilly area! The host was very responsive and super nice. The hot tub was clean and warm and the house felt very comfortable in general, being well stocked with kitchen and cleaning supplies, games, towels, and bedding. I thought it was adorable and a cozy stay for a few days. I would definitely go back to explore the local area and hiking more. "

"We stayed for a weekend during a very hot spell. The cottage and gardens were delightful (great for playing hide and seek with the grandkids!) and the hosts welcoming. Be aware that it is on the flightpath for landing/take-off from Manchester airport so can be noisy - but on the upside, the kids enjoyed watching the planes! Co-op in the village for groceries, good fish & chips and local pubs for eating out. Would be helpful to have this information/contact details in the cottage. Would recommend...
