"We spent great 5 nights at this lovely home in the oldest area of Wellington. The house is spacious, beds are really comfortable, quiet for sleeping. The walk downtown is abut 35 minutes, and leads to the Commonwealth Walk Way along the harbour. The Thorndon village is a quick walk and offers several options for meals.Everything we could have wanted was there for us. The home is lovingly decorated with unique art work, both on walls and surfaces. Yes it is an old home but it has lovely bones....

"The dishes were not clean, had to wash everything before we could even use it. Air fryer and microwave was also very dirty. The driveway is very narrow and if you have a big car you would have trouble getting into it. It would of been a nice house if it was actually maintained and cleaned. Also the host did not seem prepared for us. We had not gotten any notification of how to get into the house so we sent a message, ended up having to call the host 24hrs before we were supposed to go there due...

"A imaginatively designed apartment in a tranquil space. Everything was new & and it was furnished to a high quality with easy to use appliances. Spotlessly clean. The hosts were friendly & helpful but not intrusive. The outdoor space & garden is beautiful. A point to note is it’s not suitable for anyone with mobility issues"

"Gorgeous little carriage in a beautiful setting. All fixtures and fittings very high quality, so closer to a luxury stay than the size would suggest. Fred and Wilma made sure we were well settled in and provided great company for our pooch. Home made jams and honey just added to the treat.Carolann is a great host, there when needed.. Thank you, would love to return for another stay. "

"Lovely little place, beautifully presented / decor. Waking up to the sounds of the native birds, surrounded by trees really made you feel like you were rugged up in a tree house. Only recommendation would be to put the books in a container as they smell slightly musty and if possible providing a pair of scissors (for coffee sachets etc) would be great. Could be quite chilly if staying over winter but there are heaters provided. Otherwise 10/10 would absolutely stay again."
