"The house was great, 10 minutes to Virginia Tech , uber cost to VT was average 12. During high demand times the price was 25.. The bunk beds seemed a bit short for adults but great for kids. "

"Quaint, quiet, and cozy cabin nestled right on Claytor Lake. The cabin was clean and just as described and pictured. Husband and I were having a get-a-way weekend and it was perfect. Had one rolling storm come through and it was wonderful to listen to the rain hitting the metal roof. Love that this owner allows access to canoes, kayaks and watershed. My hubby and I went in the lake each day; he fished and I just enjoyed the peace and quiet. Saw all kinds of wildlife during our time on the water...

"Unable to get a hotel room so this was the only alternative. The RV was listed as big enough to sleep 4. Three would have been possible but 4 a stretch and there’s no way 4 people could have taken a hot shower. I got a lukewarm one day one (only in for several minutes) and my son’s was ice cold. Also the place was clean but smelled of stale beer. Also the AC ran constantly even though thermostat was set at 75 degrees. Place was frigid."

"We really enjoyed our stay at the cabin. It’s what we needed to get away for the weekend. The place has everything we needed and it has that simple yet cozy feel to it. We love how quiet it is staying there, the surroundings are clean and it’s that secluded yet close to everything little peaceful place we needed.Host was great at communicating with us as well. Definitely will go back in there for a shot little getaway of peace and quiet relaxing stay."

"Awestruck as we pulled into the winding driveway,surrounded by beautiful land,trees and a pond . It was snowing and Gordon! Babbling creek wound through the property and the Cowboy Cabin was deliightful with its fireplace, hot tub etc."

"Just a 20 minute drive on a main road to campus. Clean and set up nicely for our short stay with three adults and pup. The accommodations were just right for us and host’s attention to little touches like snacks upon arrival were a very nice surprise. Host was very attentive before and during our stay and I’d recommend you give the “Pit Stop” a look for your visit to the Blacksburg area."
