"Although not particularly close to restaurants the location worked really well for us. The accommodation we were in (1bed family/sleep6) was slightly smaller than the ones in the photos but ideal for 2 adults and 2 teenagers prepared to use a bunk bed in a room that was not technically a bedroom, probably due to it’s size, but worked well for us. "Bardonecchia is a ski resort, so accomodations are mostly ski lodges. Do not expect any large hotel chains here. We were here for 5 nights in June and had a great time. Location is close to train station and to the main street where you can find lots of restsurants. The views are amazing and did lots of walks. "Superbly located property, a few yards away from the lift with great facilities; garage, ski lockers, pool… we checked in online (which we strongly recommend) via the link the property sent which saved us queueing on arrival Saturday (queue was out the door!) - they will send you a SMS with you room number, go there straight away and your keys and instructions will be on the kitchen table. Brilliant! Would return if skiing in Alpe d’Huez again."

"A very handy location and a well maintained property. Location is a 5 min walk to the slopes and nearby restaurants and shops. We rented a 6 person room for 2 adults. This worked well as it meant we had 2 bathrooms, though it meant we had more to clean before we left. The living space was very generous. The staff were very accommodating and helpful. "

"The hotel was perfectly placed in the town for bars and restaurants. The apartment was fine for two adults and was well equipped. View from the balcony was great looking out over the mountains , the staff were very helpful. Will be coming back again."

"Rooms fine, close to slopes, pool a good advantage No communication for checkin, was told there was no front desk so was worried how we would get on once arrived but there was a front desk so worked out ok "

"First time here, but would definitely be booking again for next year "

"Had not been informed that this is more of an apartment rental than a hotel, and arrived at 10pm to find reception had closed at 8pm- there had been no warning of any closing times! Fortunately our apartment had been left open for us, but there were no sheets on any of the beds! The keys were not left in the apartment and we had to put a table against the door on the first night! Having managed to get sheets & towels the next day, we had to make up our own beds and after a 2 night stay were also...

"On est allé pour faire de le ski, et nous avons une très belle expérience. Juste à côté des pistes (5 min à pied). La maison est correcte, au niveau d’espace et propreté. La piscine n’est pas trop grande, mais elle suffit pour un petit bain après le ski. On a trouvé le personnelle très attentif et gentil. "

Italian Kellermans - Love it!

"Due to flight cancellations we needed an extra day in Italy, and why spend it at the airport when you can extend your stay in the mountains? So we booked Majestic Sansicario because our other hotel couldn’t accommodate us another day. Omg! What a discovery - it’s like Italian Kellermans! High up in Sansicario Alta, the views were spectacular! The facilities were gorgeous, and the hospitality was delightful. The hotel accommodates all for dinner, and it was surprisingly delightful and creative. The vegetarian options were fabulous. We love skiing and riding Via Lattea, and will definitely come back, and Majestic Sansicario would be a great place to stay . Only downside is the harrowing drive up the mountain, I recommend doing it at night if you get vertigo. "

"This property is great value for money and is really close to thebest lifts in Alp d’Huez. For the cost it is really smart and the breakfast was excellent. Staff all really niceand helpful. €20 to use the spa which we were happy paying. Only advice is to get a room at the backof the property as the frontis quite noisey."

"Loved the place, accommodation was great, perfect for 2 adults and 2 teens, very comfortable and stunning views t the mountains. Also very well located for shuttles to ski lifts, shopping, restaurants. Bar, restaurant and social area on the ground floor were very convenient and great vibes. Staff was amazing!!"
