"The property is quite large and is a nice island house. The bedrooms have air conditioning and it seems like the house has undergone some renovations as many parts look new. The best feature of the house is the very large porch with multiple hammocks. We spent most our time here. The host was fantastic and ensured we had everything we need. The only surprise was the location. The map on VRBO is not correct and the home is further away from the city than indicated on the site."

"Just what we needed, a place to call home away from visiting our family in Puerto Rico. Plenty of sleeping space, spacious kitchen, friendly neighbors (including the cute little neighborhood pup who we think was named "Obie" who was very friendly and welcoming when we arrived). "The house is located across the street from a great beach and there are places to eat within a short walk. The town of Arecibo is a short drive away and we shopped for groceries and fun gifts. The prices were really low compared to mainland US, although sit-down restaurants are as expensive as on the mainland. Our party of 9, including 2 children, found the house to be perfect. "Excellent little house (with 4 bedrooms) on a wonderful site in the mountains. Crickets and birds singing all night, plus roosters crowing in the morning. Gorgeous views, gorgeous flowers. Plus coconut and banana palms and bamboo. "

"My stay was amazing wit the host waiting for us to give us the keys and gate control. The AC on prior to us arriving. The house inside temperature was perfect. You could walk straight to the water and it is a safe place. The local were nice and you could get to places very easy. We slept with hearing the waves at night and it was soothing. We will be coming back to stay as a couple next time and recommend it if you want to have your own little beach. "

"This was our second time staying at the Hacienda. We absolutely loved it. There’s so much to do at home, our teenager and young adults were never bored. We swam, played games and music. Although there is a tv available, it wasn't needed nor missed. Staying here made for some quality family time. Coral and Camacho made our stay beyond comfortable. It was perfect, we hope to stay again soon!"
