"Very nice resort on its own small island. Free boat across to the town, takes about 2-3 minutes. Food at breakfast was good - with enough variety to please pretty much everyone. Only complaint would be food options for lunch and dinner are rather limited and not cheap. "

"My children and I spent time in Vanuatu recently and stayed here. We really enjoyed the swim up bar and selection of swimming pools on offer. We visited in the school holidays and although the property appeared busy they had closed one of the restaurants due to not enough guests for dinner. The buffet breakfast was not the best, plenty of options but the quality of the food was the problem. The omelette and egg making station with the foot cook fresh was the highlight. "Showing its age but is clean and reasonable price staff are all great and friendly. Can kayak on lagoon which is free, but snorkeling andswimming not advised apparently due to pollution in lagoon good pools for the kids."

"We had the deluded waterfront villa. It was really lovely, sitting in the deck overlooking water was just beautiful, we could see starfish and sea cucumbers in the crystal clear water of the lagoon. Only downside was no signal for TV, maintenance changed the TV as everything was in Chinese, but still no signal. Only a minor hiccup as we were on holiday, not there to watch TV. Fully self co tai ed with washing Mach and dryer, instructions again in Chinese but I worked it out. Air conditioner...

"The resort is absolutely beautiful with stunning water views on the bay, beautifully maintained tropical gardens, and cute tropical "fare" bungalows. You have the choice of swimming in the pristine sea or in the lovely swimming pool. The staff is so dedicated to helping you have the best stay and the manager is very helpful. We'll come back. "

"A Hidden Gem! The Lagoon Gardens was amazing! Our hosts Morgan and Annika welcomed us like family and delivered an experience like no other. "We only stayed 3 nights but our stay was just perfect. Its a beautiful spot and only a short taxi trip to most places. It is getting renovated, but the essentials are still open- pool which most of the time we had to ourselves. Restaurant with beautiful views and great breakfast serve - the thursday chef buffet is definitely recommended. The staff were absolutely amazing my 3 year old loved the attention from all the staff from his babycino in the mornings to his daily catch ups with William...

"The highlight is the fantastic reef snorkelling at a nearby beach - about a 30 minute walk from the resort. The staff and local community were very welcoming and happy to have a chat and show you around. However probably don’t go if you are bothered by getting too close to nature - i.e rats in your room - as the resort is in the bush and rooms are ‘rustic village’ style and reasonably open to the elements. I liked it but didn’t sleep much! "
