"Great location excellent staff overall fantastic hotel"

"This place was so lovely, safe and comfortable. Extremely kind staff and a very beautiful atmosphere. It felt like a home away from home. Large tv, hot shower, spacious rooms and soft sheets just to name a few great things. The pool area is well kept. You can rent a motorbike or ATV here and you’re only around 10 minutes away from multiple beaches. Will definitely stay here again if I’m ever back in this area! "

"These are not proper villas. We booked a 2 bed villa as we are traveling as a group. What we got was 2 bedrooms with ensuite (one upstairs and one downstairs)and an outdoors cooking space. The advertisement stated there is a living room, there is no living room, there is supposed to be a tv, there is no tv, the door to our villa entry does not lock so you need to keep the curtains in the downstairs bedroom closed all the time as anyone in the courtyard can see straight into the shower, including house keeping crew who walk in as a whole group. There are no windows to open, only the door and no screen to keep bugs and mosquitoes out, so it is stuffy, stale and smells of mildew with bugs. This place is nice if you are staying a couple days and don't need to do anything, but we booked a villa specifically as we are staying for a while and needed the spaces that were advertised and not provided. When requesting a cancellation because the villa is not what was advertised, the villa wanted to charge us a 50% cancellation, They tried to argue that the balcony on the upstairs bedroom was the living space, this was a tiny balcony with one chair and a little table compleatly open to the elements and bugs. It was big enough for two people to stand on, but it did not feel entirly safe underfoot when a second person came out onto it. I pointed this out to the hotel who then increased the cancellation fee to 100%. Hotels.com moved us to a new villa"

"The Villa was great. The staff were superb and made such good memories The Hosts Paul and Melanie answer all our question and there were lots. They messaged when we were there to make sure everything was ok and also at the end of the holidayWould defiantly recommend to family and friends and would book again if / when we return"

"The Kelapa Retreat and Spa is a glorious oasis far from the bustling areas of Bali. It is truly gorgeous and it seems that all the rooms are amazing and unique. The views are amazing, the infinity pools very relaxing, the beach is gorgeous and it feels like it is private. The waves and current can be string but its super fun for boogey boarding. The food is outstanding and the bar makes an incredible array of drinks for all tastes. They have daily free activities and a beautiful spa. The resort also offers transportation and a selection of tours. I'd recommend waiting until you get to the resort to choose your day trips. We had a truly phenomenal time enjoying the beauty and tranquility of the place while also appreciating the culture and hospitality of Bali."

"Pros: -excellent and polite staff that made me feel at home -clean pool -fast check in -large, clean room in front of the pool -easy Airplay from MacBook to Sony tv -very delicious food at the restaurant -clean white towels -well manicured grounds -beachfront -lots of water provided daily - didn't have to ask for extra water -drinks in the fridge free - replenished daily Cons: -glass doors rattle when winds are strong -should have someone at the pool to stop outsiders from using the pool "
