"We had a lovely stay at Casa de Vista Alta in Mindo. It's a gorgeous property in a stunning location, high up on a hill, surrounded by a bird-filled cloud forest. The views from the veranda (and balconies) are spectacular. The staff at the Casa were very friendly and helpful. We also enjoyed hanging out with the Casa's dog, Kyova. We spent one night in a room in the main house and the other night in a cabin. Breakfast was very tasty. We also ate dinner once at the main house -- tasty trout on the spacious veranda. We greatly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be returning."

"Lovely place"

"El lugar es bonito, tranquilo limpio y con bonitas áreas, sin embargo, si se encuentra bastante lejos del parque de mindo, para salir del lugar el camino no es bueno tiene bastantes huecos y es de tierra por lo que al ir con carro bajo complica un poco entrar y salir con facilidad. No nos realizaron la limpieza de la habitación, por que no entregamos las llaves pero nadie nos avisó aquello y al llegar esperábamos encontrar limpio y no fue asi. Adicional, el desayuno es rico pero al quedarnos dos noches no hay variedad en el desayuno, es el mismo los dos días. Del resto si es un sitio recomendable"

"This beautiful place is right in town (across from the bus station) on a quiet street and easy walk to main street and all its offerings. We stayed in the apartment style room, very clean, spacious and everything for stay in cooking or just making coffee and sitting on the little patio. Ronny the owner took great care of us, cooked a yummy breakfast with a choice to have delivered to your room or on the upstairs patio. Did all our laundry for a great price. I would stay here again if visiting Mindo in the future. thanks Ronny."

"I liked having nature around me and its fulfilling breathtaking beauty. The owners/staff are very friendly and understanding; beautiful people. It was a pleasure to meet them. Hearing a river flowing and the tranquil sounds of a waterfall on the property; amazing to both fall asleep to and awaken to. Hummingbirds to admire, a swimming pool, soccer field, volley ball, a kids playground for families with younger ones, a walking path, hammocks, and breakfast provided. I had my own car and speak Spanish, so I enjoyed everything I wanted to do and see on my stay. Some good things to see were mentioned by the owners/staff. Positive energy. I did not have any dislikes."
