We had a great stay at the cabin. The area was peaceful and all that we needed was available in the cabin. We will definitely consider staying here again in the future.
The property was very complete and in a very quiet neighborhood. The county maintained roads to the property off of Highway 260 were in excellent condition. I would highly recommend this property to anyone looking for a relaxing vacation.
We really enjoyed the solitude. It was a little off the beaten path, but not too far. The cabin was very clean and had an adorable patriotic theme throughout. Well stocked. Janet was a very good host and gave great directions to the cabin. Loved our time there.
Our recent stay at "The Ranch" at Mead Ranch wonderful, as it was a perfect blend of activity and down time. From this cozy cabin as our "home base", my wife and I were able to mountain bike, go horseback riding, play pickleball, explore the Tonto Natural Bridge area, antique shop, and simply relax on the porch with our favorite hot or cold drink. The cabin was absolutely perfect for our 5-day stay, complete with any amenity we would need, and the peaceful location was far enough in the woods to provide a temporary escape from our hectic lives. The property owner was extremely responsive to any questions we had ahead of time, and we're already looking forward to another visit in the near future.
Absolutely wonderful! I don't think I have enough space to type out how great our experience was. :)
The cabin is exactly as described and we had a beautiful time relaxing and refreshing in the woods. The home is immaculately cleaned, beautifully decorated, the bathrooms are so nice and updated. The beds are very comfortable and so are the pillows. The living room furniture is situated just right to have a great time with family and relax by the fire or enjoy a nice movie. There was lots of snow when we arrived so our daughter had a great time making a snowman and playing in the snow. We are a small family with a teenager, 1 year-old baby, and small dog, and we all had a great time. Everything is well thought out and feels like home away from home. Our host, Janet, was absolutely amazing! We had an issue come up and she helped us get it resolved as best she could and was extremely helpful, even when it was late at night. We're so grateful for her hospitality and kindness.
We can't wait to go back and highly recommend.

Ok, But could be great!
Nice little place. This is a not a real cabin, but a trailer made to look like a cabin. It is in a great location and just what I was looking for.
Let me preface this by saying I have managed VRBO's for a while, and I stay at them often.
I stayed the first few days alone. My daughter and her fiancé came up late Friday and we had our fur kids. This property allowed dogs which was one reason for picking it. Janet was easy to work with and allowed me to add an extra day for my daughter and her fiancé only.
Here are some things you need to know: This property is remote so you can not forget ANYTHING. There is no ice maker and only a small 5 cup coffee maker, or 2 mugs. A small bag of ice will take up most of the room in the freezer. There are basically no pantry items. There is some flour, salt, pepper, garlic powder and a few other items. So if you think you will need something specific take it with you.
Soap, shampoo and conditioner are a few used travel bottles. So don't forget yours! My daughter did, luckily I travel with my own.
My biggest issues were that they do not tell you that the rooms are cooled with portable AC's.. There is a whole house AC but it does not cool. The back room has a window AC, the living and Master have portable AC's. During the heat of the day at nearly 100 degrees they do little. So you turn them on and don't turn them off if you are in during the hot months. Hot air comes in through the stove vent, so turn the vent fan on low and also make sure the flu is closed to help keep the hot air out. My biggest issue was I spent the first 5 hours there cleaning, which was not easy because they do not have a proper vacuum, there is no mop other than a swiffer. For a home that allows pets, that does not cut it. There was dog hair on everything. The sheets in the master were dirty and had to be washed., the sofa is microfiber and smells like a laundry basket so I covered that with a clean blanket. The light switches, cabinet faces, door handles, kitchen sink were dirty. Bathroom showers and toilets were clean.. Sadly, there just is not attention to detail. Janet did refund my cleaning fee. My daughter and I did do some more cleaning on Saturday, but at some point you just have to stop. This is the first time I have left a poor review. The potential is there, I just didn't feel like Janet really took seriously the condition of the home, or the desire to take the little extra time to make it great.
Great cabin with wood deck. Love indoor wood burning fire place, full kitchen and living area. Also loved outdoor fire pit. It had all the necessities for home away from home. Lots of peace and quiet. A short drive to the lakes and hiking trails.
Didn’t need anything except food, provided more than enough items. Even had coffee, sugar creamer. Most places don’t. Cabin is in the pines, smelled so good, decorated American and country. Enjoyed cooler weather and evening showers. Host is very nice always available to communicate. Nice place to stay.
The cabin is in a beautiful forested area! Enjoyed our morning walks and our dog loved playing with the local ranch dog that patrols the community. The Americana/Farmhouse decor is very cute and the cabin is well stocked with the essentials.
This property is such a great family retreat. We loved the location, the wilderness and drive. The cabin is cute and cozy.
Our family enjoyed sitting on the porch, playing checkers and cooking in the kitchen. It was everything we needed and enjoyed. We will be back when time and availability permit! This location is a gem!
My family and I spent my 40th birthday here. This cabin is GORGEOUS and exactly what we were looking for. Very beautiful and quiet area, clean, everything you need. Janet is just as awesome and makes booking very easy. I 100% recommend this place and will be returning.
