First floor has 2 bedrooms, 2 baths with 3rd 500 square foot loft/bedroom upstairs. 2 masonry fireplaces, Beautiful views overlooking the seasonal East Verde River from a huge redwood deck. Surrounded by pines and oaks. Approximately 20 minutes from Payson near the base of the Rim. Fishing, hiking, swimming.... Ideal for romantic or family get away. Well maintained.

Beautiful location neighbors were friendly as well. Perfect getaway for a couple or a family with kids. The stars at night with the sound of the creek were breathtaking. I love the feel of the wilderness heard Elk as well.

Perfect place to get away
My fiancé and I needed to beat the heat and get out of the valley. This place was perfect! I could sit out on that deck for days. Busted my knuckles on the front door a handful of times but we had a blast. We will surely stay again.

Secluded Tree-House thunderstorms in July!
Great property, in a quiet Payson cabin community positioned perfectly in the trees. A creek view and amazing thunderstorms made for a perfect vacation. Plenty of toys for our 1-year old to play with, secluded even in the neighborhood it was easy to forget anyone else was there. The wrap around deck was where we spent most of our time. Dont pass this place up.

We enjoyed our stay. The highlight was two visits by elk in the evenings. We were disappointed that the river was dry but the hiking was good. The loft was perfect for two boys 5 and 7: space, toys, musical instruments, and beds too! The master shower did not function properly but the other one did. We could never figure out how to work the TV or the DVD player except to listen to Spotify -- detailed written instructions should be provided. The deck was great for watching and listening to the sights and sounds of nature.

This cabin retreat was exactly what we wanted out of our 5th anniversary vacation! Well-kept and in a beautiful location with great views. Perfect weather and a nice escape from the valley. We had such a nice and relaxing time that we didn’t want to go home!

Exactly what we needed
The cabin was just like it was advertised - nice deck, clean, cozy. My husband and two kids and I had a great time....hiked, watched movies, made dinner (the grill was kind of a mess so we didn't use that, but the kitchen was well equipped and we just used the oven instead). Fireplace beautiful, watched Netflix movies. We went up to Geode Hill as suggested and the kids loved that. Geodes everywhere! Kids also really liked the loft a lot. Loved all the windows in the cabin, and the way they opened on the bottom to let air in was nice. Would come back for sure.
